I'm using these lights as auxiliary daytime running lights for my car. No, they are not as bright as the LED daytime running lights that come as standard equipment from the factory on many cars, but they are still quite bright for these types of LED strips. Perhaps ones that I've seen called "Max LED's" are a little brighter, but the those that I've seen do not have as many LED's per foot as these lights. I would describe the shade of white as a "cool white", but it is not quite as bluish as other cool white LED's that I've seen.I did put some transparent vinyl wrap over these strips, because, as with all of these types of LED strips that I have experience with, the clear flexible plastic that makes up the actual strip is soft and would likely get marked up with debris when mounted on the front of the car (this has happened with other flexible LED strips I have mounted on the front of a car). And I put some strip caulk at the end where the wires are attached to help enhance water resistance. I don't know if that was necessary or not, but the appearance of the shrink-wrapping where the wires are attached makes it look like water could get to the actual connections, but there would be no way for me to know for sure without removing the shrink-wrapping, which I did not want to do.I've only had these LED strips installed for about a week, so far, so only time will tell how they hold up and how well my modifications help protect them. But so far, I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Pretty bright for a simple strip even after reading a couple reviews saying they werent that great. Simple directions to tell you which lead is power and ground. A good length of wire already on the strip. Wish they came with a cap or something to cover the end where extension pins can be added. Surprised to see actual 3m branded tape on the back. Also wish the wires were either black or had some heat shrink over them since these are listed to be used on vehicles and the white wire stick out. Overall happy with them.

I would give it 5 stars, but the wire leads were a little too short. Another foot would have been nice. Otherwise it's a great product.Pro: Bright and easy to install.Con: short wire leads.

These are amazing. They are super bright and Come with 3M tape on them. The reviews that say they don’t stay or fall off is due to not prepping the surface correctly. So here is some tips. Make sure to install in 70+ degree weather. Make sure the surface is entirely clean. Then use alcohol preps to clean it again until nothing shows on the alcohol prep pad. Then I highly recommend to use 3M 4298 Adhesion Promoter. Wait till it dries and then stick the lights on surface. Remember you will only have one shot at this. Trust me. Install was super easy. Love the fact that each light goes to the controller individually and no splicing. App works great and also the remote functions properly. Only issue is I have numerous remotes so they get confused so I use the app and that takes any issue away

I wanted some LED strips to mount on my bike for the sole purpose of illuminating the chrome in order to be more visible during the early morning commute. This was the perfect choice. I ended up buying an SAE connector (about $8) and wiring directly to the battery rather than messing with the bike's wiring harness. All 4 LED strips work great. The adhesion seems decent enough and you can wire these how you see fit. I would absolutely purchase these again.

I ended up using zip ties to tie the lights since the “sticky” side after the red tape is taken off is not sticky. The lights are brights and nice though.
