Aquapac Waterproof Case for Flip SlideHD and Select Flip UltraHD Video Cameras

Purchased this bag to use on a trip to Grand Cayman for our stingray sandbar excursion (<--- AMAZING trip!!!). The camera I used was an older Fuji camera with a cracked LCD screen that took good pictures, so if it got wet, I would have a good reason to throw it out. Unfortunately, the bag didn't leak and I am still stuck with the camera. I placed a slightly wadded up tissue on the bottom of the bag to catch any water droplets that might have leaked into the bag, but the tissue came out dry. My photos were pretty good too in spite of the awkwardness of not knowing what I was shooting and having the extra layer between my finger and the photo button. There is slight haze from the extra thickness of the bag, but not bad enough to rule this bag out, esp when you consider the alternatives of either buying a waterproof camera that may or may not work, buying a one time film disposable camera, or using a good digital camera without protection. I made sure to pull the plastic tight around the lens so there was very little distortion in the photos. And be sure you wipe off any water droplets around the lens before clicking the shutter or you'll end up with spots on your photos... not that I would know...The clasp (closing mechanism) is great but the weakness of this bag is where the two seams meet near the clasp. If you pull the opening edges too far apart, I can see how the bag will tear at the seams. So handle with care when opening. I also purchased other bags, and one of them has the ziplock bag type closing... although I did not test the ziplock closing bag in water, I prefer this closure over the ziplock one because there is less chance for error.

I was extremely satisfied with the flip aquapac underwater case. I was a little skeptical when first trying the product, but after the bubble test I put my flip ultra 2nd gen inside the pouch and dunked it into my kitchen sink. There was no leakage and the video quality was pretty much the same. The sound was a little muffled underwater as expected. Since this case is about $8.00 compared to the other flip underwater cases priced at about $70.00, I figured I'd try the cheaper one to see if it worked. (I have also heard about several leakage problems people have been experiencing with the $70.00 case which was another reason I bought the Aquapac case). In the end, I would highly recommend this to anyone who is trying to find a reasonably priced underwater flip case.

We found ourselves scrambling to find some kind of waterproof camera/video camera a week before we went to Hawaii. While looking for cameras we stumbled across these cases and figured with so many positive reviews it was worth a shot to try it with the Flip we already have. The package came FAST...we paid for 2 day shipping and it came the next day.We used the case several times over the course of 6 days and it worked flawlessly to keep our Flip, car keys, and other small valuables safe and dry while we snorkeled. The picture and sound were great. We couldn't be happier. My husband's coworker lent him a waterproof camera the day before we left, and we were so happy with this case that we didn't even bother using his camera. GREAT PRODUCT!

I used this for surf videos and it worked great the times that it was in good condition. Clear and easy to use.The next few weeks, i noticed a hole in the bag. I could not use it any more. I purchased this for a 2nd generation Flip HD camera. I had previously ordered a hard plastic case made specifically for Flip cameras, but I had to send it back because it arrived broken. I ordered another one and it was also broken. This case is a better design although it is a soft bag, rather than the hard plastic. It is easy to use the camera while inside the case and we have never had any problems with it leaking. I have only used it at a pool, so it has not been tested at the 15 foot depth.

We wanted something that would protect our camera while we went to the waterpark at Great Wolf Lodge. I was a little skeptical with the low price. Boy was I wrong. This product is great and we got soem really cool shots of the kids going down the slides and splashning around in the wave pool. I was even brave enough to do some underwater shots of the kids. Th picture quality was not affected by the bag. I will be using this on our next trip to Hawaii and getting some even cooler shots there.

Is a great product, although i've only used it once for its intended purpose. As an avid aviator, I often find myself in the sky and having a bladder bursting at the seams. This product is amazing, as it seams to be the exact size of my bladder. I haven't had a single problem with the liquid leaking out at all, and with the convenient lanyard, I can where it around my neck and not forget it anywhere. I would highly recommend this product to anyone with a overactive bladder!

so very happy that it kept my electronics dry!!! however, the pictures were not that great, a little blurry through the plastic, and of course the more you use it the more scratched it will get and the worse the pictures...but still invaluable for keeping stuff dry!!

I got this for holidays to put my phone and money in while swimming at the beach and pool, it worked perfectly not a drop of water got inside, and everything was safe with me at all times.

it does exactly what is says and is great quality. Good value for money, took all the worries away about protecting my camera and it meant that we could get all those shots of the children learning to swim without any hassle.
