Great shelter, found at dunhams for 200$, better quality than Eskimo,
Great shelter, I've used it 2 seasons now and have had zero problems, I've hade it on the lake when the winds kicked up over 45 mph. I thought the thing was going to blow into pieces , but to mine and my buddy's suprise it held up well, three grown adults is a good fit, any more would be a bit cramped, the ovel doors are nice,, only two negatives are only 4 anchors included and you need a small tarp on top if it rains, seems leak pretty bad in any amount of rain. It would have got 5 stars if it was water tight, but no hub I've been in so fare is, no biggy small tarps are cheap.

Very nice
This works very well for the group that join us ice fishing. Easy to heat.

False advertising
The Shappell website implied this was made in the USA. On arrival, it says "Made in China."The Amazon seller was prompt.Do better, Shappell.

We fished with 3 adults (everyone is over 6') & one 7 year old in the shanty & everyone was comfortable. The bag is made real st
After looking at all others I decided on the WD6500 because there were no negative reviews.I have used this shelter 6 times & every time the wind has been between 25 to 35 mph & have had ZERO problems (Do buy some more anchors)As with all shelters. "Anchor a corner with the wind 1st" & you will have no problems. We fished with 3 adults (everyone is over 6') & one 7 year old in the shanty & everyone was comfortable. The bag is made real strong & roomy. I actually took the bus with the shelter on my back with no problem.I'm 52 years old & back pack this shelter to were ever I go because it is so light. It's a very good shelter that I would buy again.I only paid $200.00 w/free shipping from another site.UPDATE; Go Thermal!!! I bought an Otter xth pro cabin (thermal hub) & it stays very warm on the coldest days. I do not have to run the heater most of the time & I do NOT get the condensation dripping on me or the freezing like I did in the Shappell. The Shappell is big & built strong but I will never go back to NON insulated.

Good purchase.
Used it twice now. Both times about 10 degrees, little wind, 3 people with a buddy heater, and we were fine taking coats and hats off. Definitely happy with this $200 purchase.

WH6500 ice hut
I bought this ice hut at fleet farm in Green Bay WI. I like it easy to put up for one person. Lots of room..Only one thing I don't like is that they only send 4 ice hold down stakes.. U need at least 8 if the wind is blowing.. To hold the hut sides from collapsing in on you.. Even in a 10 mph wind..If u use 8 stakes u can put this hut up in a stuff wind and it stays put.. I have had mine in a 25 mph wind. I was impressed.. It's made quite well.U can buy extra stakes at fleet farm or walmart for $3.50 for a set of 2. I called the mfg. and ask to get more but they said they only send 4 if I want more to buy them.. So I did..
