Wont hold humidity levels, fake wood facade, another crap product for the gullible consumer.
It's like everything else, you get what you pay for. This is probably mass produced in a sweat shop overseas somewhere, with very little effort on making a quality product and more emphasis on making a buck. Clear coat finish is peeling off of the fake wood and this unit will not hold humidity for longer than a week. Even after several biweekly wipe downs with a sponge and distilled water, then adding 2 packets of Boveda, this box fails to hold moisture. I am no aficionado but I like to enjoy a good smoke every day or two. The only purpose for this box is to keep my stogies fresh and acclimated and it does not deliver. Too bad really, another pile of internet junk for the burn pile.

A nice humidor
Humidors can cost anywhere from around $20 to thousands of dollars. Obviously, this one isn't on the extreme high end, but the important question is: will it work? And the answer is yes. It's not perfect, but it does a fine job.In terms of appearance, you really can't go wrong. The exterior looks like attractive wood (it's actually a veneer, but that's to be expected in this price range) and the interior is an attractive and functional cedar. Everything seems well-constructed and I'm perfectly happy to keep this humidor on display. The hygrometer on the exterior is an analog model which I think is far more attractive than digital. However, these aren't as accurate as the digital ones, by and large, so the manufacturer has included an inexpensive digital hygrometer as well. I'd recommend keeping both in operation (that will mean buying some batteries) to make sure you can keep your humidity correct. That having been said, while I recommend using the digital one as a backup, the analog one (once calibrated) actually seems to be giving accurate readings. The seal on the lid is reasonably tight but could be a little tighter. Practically speaking, all this means is that it will keep the humidity where you want it, but you'll probably have to refill it a little more frequently. In my case, I live in a dry climate (which has also been experiencing a drought), so I've struggled to keep the humidity up to 70%. However, an acceptable range is 65% to 73%, and I've had no trouble at all keeping it within that range once it was seasoned. The accessories are a nice touch but nothing to write home about. The cutter works well (as does the cigar holder, though I'd be surprised if it didn't). They're not the most elegant in their appearance, but they get the job done, and for devices included for free, I certainly can't complain.Overall, I'd absolutely recommend this as a perfectly functional humidor for the casual or occasional cigar smoker. Those for whom cigars are a major passion might opt for a slightly more expensive model.

This seems like a solid humidor
It's a decent size for a small humidor... Take the 20-50 with a grain of salt, it really is closer to a 20 cigar humidor than 50 if you are putting anything larger than a 5x30 stub in here. I smoke 7x44 usually and about 22 is the best I can do...The quality seems pretty good and it smells and acts like a cedar humidor. the viewing window is nice but not required, the hygrometer only needed a minor adjustments. The cigar stand is a nice touch but just a novelty the cutter is a decent one as well. All in all I like this little humidor and I'll be using it in my basement for easy access to my cigars and I don't need that many at any given time.I gave this 4 stars overall for the initial quality on the positive side and for "stretching the truth" on the capacity on the negative...Just my thoughts,AK

Real classy gift idea
Just a beautiful design that is also helpful in preserving cigars. Real classy gift for someone who loves cigars. The box has a great smell. Stores a lot of cigars. The stainless steel cigar cutter is handy and durable. The digital hygrometer is easy to read. Perfectly gorgeous display. You can also lock it up. The felt bottom prevents scratches if box is set on wood or marble surface. Keeps cigars really fresh and retain flavor.

Trouble maintaining proper humidty levels
I have a bout 35-40 cigars in the humidor right now, along with (3) 75% Boveda packs and a sponge with distilled water just to maintain the level at 70%. Must check it daily to make sure it is holding there. Other than that, it looks great.
