This is my very first beard product, although i have been keeping beard ON and OFF since a long time now. Read about the use of beard oils and balms and found several expensive products in the market, especially imported from other countries. Skeptical at first whether i should give it a try or not, i decided to give it a try. Choosing between balm and oil was difficult, but knowing that the beard balm is has all the major properties of the oil plus it adds some hold and stiffness for styling made it easier. Too many amazing products available online and each of them have their own fan followings. Amidst all this , i came across "The Real Man Beard Balm".The very first thing that struck was that it is an Indian brand, competing against well established international brands. The second most important thing is the list of ingredients that goes on to make that awesome balm. All the major oils like jojoba and almond oil combined with nourishing butters gives you the sense of the richness of the product and its effect on your beard and face. Combine all that richness with a pleasant fragrance and a dash of cool menthol gives you the perfect tonic for your beard.Pros:1) Price - This product is the best bet in the Indian market currently.2) Composition - An amazing mix of high quality oils and butters topped up with a mild fragrance. The fragrance lingers on for sometime and menthol keeps you cool and fresh. The scent does not overpower at all. Although there is a lot of scope for improving the fragrance, i still liked the feel of it.3) There is no silicon oil in this product. Some of the reviews that i read suggested not to have silicon oil for multiple reasons, one of them being that prolonged use may adversely affect skin and hair both.4) It has been just a week since i started using this product. But the feel of my beard has seriously changed. It has softened a lot and i could see the bright texture on it after i apply this thing early morning. It certainly does not add the glaze that you observe with a beard oil, but leave s a gentle shine with a slightly matte finish which is amazing. But i would recommend that the quantity to be applied should be decided by the user as i feel you require a slightly more amount.5) the after effects of applying the product are amazing. You can feel the oils and butters working on your hair and skin shortly after application. Also the menthol cools you and leaves you afresh.Cons:1) No specific con as such. Just that the product is not useful for a proper hold of the beard. Cannot be used for styling.2) Fragrance can be much better.Final verdict:I would definitely recommend it people who wanna give a try to beard care products. Apt pricing, rich combination of nourishing oils and butters and the overall performance of the product is amazing. Loved it.

Amazing product! take a thumbnail amount of the balm and rub it in your palms and work it on your beard until all of it is applied. The Realman beard balm gives your beard a slight hold and styling properties to an extent, the beeswax in beard balm is only just a slight hold at best.The fragrance is so pleasant and the menthol just gives you a cool feeling and soothes your beard. Its a must in a man`s kit for that awesomeness escaping out of your face.

Mrp on the product is 250/- but Amazon added 75/- extra for delivery. The product is okay. Not extra ordinary. The smell is a little too concentrated for me. Doesn't give any hold to the beard. Causes mild irritation which can be easily mistaken for menthol which is not true

Very sticky, the smell gave me a headache, doesn't hold very well.

I just used this product for the first time & I must say this Balm is amazing. Does exactly like it claims. It has menthol or Eucalyptus that gives that cooling effect after you apply it. I applied it after massaging thoroughly with my beard oil. I give it 4 and a half stars.The best part I guess is the medium hold & that amazing fragrance. The price is one of the lowest as far as beard balms are concerned.& For those who are writing about it smelling like Vicks & iodex I want to say it doesn't. Please stop misguiding other customers. It kinda feels like Vicks when applied coz of the menthol, but doesn't smell like one. On the contrary it smells really good!!

Good product. Loved the scent and consistency. It really tamed my beard in a week.

Feel like real pain killer bum..But perfume is quite nice ..Don't know anything about ingredients ....
