Rekon Race EXO/TR Reifen 29 Zoll

These came as stock on my bike and replaced like for like as they are a great XC tyre. Used them for long blasts to much up the miles due to their low rolling reaiatance. Long wearing and great for all seasons except the UK winter. (Or anywhere anytime is been raining heavy or muddy...then forget them). Easy peasy to set up tubeless as well. I use these up front aswell as rear but could probably get a better option for the front...i just dont know what that it is.

Semi-slicks from maxxis. I had the ones without EXO and not tubeless, they are slightly faster and lighter. But I kept getting punctures in isle of man (previously, in Norway, had never got a puncture with those in over 2 years). Here in iom i literally always get a puncture passing through some areas. These tyres are for rolling speed, typically recommended on rear tyre. If you've never tried these or similar, you'll notice quite the speed difference. With both fitted, on the last part from laxey to ramsey (IOM) I reached slightly over 70km/h on my mtb (970 scott), with no relevant wind and no slipstream. (Last picture/screen from strava). And they're quite ok offroad too, granted on not too rough terrain. If your roads are clean, no frequent glass shards, no micro- wood spikes from nearby woodchopping activities (like most of norway), then you could go for the non-EXO. In any other case you'll probably be safer with the heavier ones.

Cubiertas rodadoras con bastante agarre por sus tacos laterales. Son un calco de las Ikon, pero con el plus del agarre lateral. Para rodar por puras pistas, sin mucha complicación en el terreno muy recomendables

In generale, il Maxxis Recon Race è un ottimo pneumatico da MTB che offre una buona combinazione di scorrevolezza, grip e durata. Lo consiglio vivamente a chiunque cerchi un pneumatico di qualità per la propria bicicletta da cross country.
