My stove insert door glass cracked after many many years of use. I obtained and had the high temperature fireplace glass cut to size at a somewhat local glass store.The local fireplace stores did not have the proper gasket seals but gave me other sizes to try and they were oddly unable to get the 3/16 size. Alternate sizes do not fit properly, cannot be trimmed thinner as they are braided and fall apart. An improper size is not really safe, and glass may not sit properly flush. When reinstalling the glass be sure to use some anti-seize grease on your new screws and simply slightly only snug them.Vermont Castings 1983 model 0044 Insert. This 3/16 gasket seal worked perfectly. It is even sticky back on one side which makes installation much easier. Very pleased !

This gasket fit perfectly for my Vermont Castings Encore wood stove. My gasket, like the picture, had the adhesive backing separated in many places, but the gasket retained its adhesion to the glass anyway, so I'm happy.

I received a response within 2 hours of e-mailing the seller. The supplier shipped the 2nd gasket right away. Wow! on customer service from the seller and the supplier. I just wish they had been on the same page from the start, my blood pressure went though the roof. That is what the 4 stars is for. I expected to get 20'. I got 10' total. The receipt say 5 @ $3.00, -0.01 discount = 14.99More than disappointed, feel ripped off. Plan to contact seller. Will up date review after. The gasket looks nice enough but may not keep. Paying double is not in my plans.This was the right after I got my package and I was very up set. We used this to replace the seal on our Harmon pellet stove insert. It was easy to install and works great.

This was badly packed and most of the adhesion protector was off the rope ad wasthus not usable. The rope was tangle and knotted. In a fairness I cannot recommend this product
