Completely satisfied
Comparing this to my previous Phillips 900-lumens 3700k LED bulbs in the recessed fixtures for my kitchen. These are absolutely brighter and noticeably cooler, even though they are listed as slightly less bright at 850-lumens and just 300k cooler. There is just a slight hint of yellow warmth in the color, which I am okay with. However, if you are looking for a traditional warm incandescent color, these are not for you.Overall, I like these and they throw a fairly even light without shadows or spotlight effect.

Very good light from these bulbs; close to incandescent
These bulbs are pricey, but worth it imo because their light is so good, almost as good as the halogen bulbs they replaced. I'm picky about light. I had purchased some other LED bulbs at a big box store that were supposed to be the same color temperature (2700K), but the color didn't feel right. There are definitely differences between manufacturers.

Great bulbs
I needed to replace some 9-year-old can bulbs (LEDs) and found these. At first I wasn't certain how they'd work so I ordered just one pack. They work great so I ordered two more packs just now. Here are some key points:Claim: 9 watts. My power meter measured 8.6 watts so their claim is real. That's 2 watts less than the 11 watt bulbs they replaced that were roughly the same brightness (those were claiming 820 lumens at roughly the same 4000 K color temperature).Claim: 850 lumens. I couldn't measure this, but it seems about right.Obervation: These bulbs are smooth enough so I can use a suction cup at the end of a threaded broom stick to remove the bulbs. That worked with my old halogens, but the 9-year-old LEDs that these replaced were too "dimpled" to use the suction cup. Love it! I don't have to get high on a ladder to change bulbs.Observation: These bulbs dim with 27-year-old dimmers that we have in our house, including a GrafikEye system. Not all bulbs work with those older dimmers, and some don't even work well with new dimmers supposedly designed for LEDs.Note that the beam angle on these bulbs is 35 degrees, so not a wide flood. More like a spot light. But that's what our can fixtures used before.I obviously couldn't say anything about longevity, but expect them to last. Only time will tell.Overall I love them.

Excellent lights.
These are very nice with good color. I have no idea how long they will last as I just bought them. I always write the date on the bulb when I install them. I will buy these again, if they last.

3000k Seems To White
Initially bought the 3000k but they were to āwhiteā for my taste. Returned them and got the 2700k. Happier with the 2700k albeit still not āHalogen likeā in light color. To be fair, these are as close as I got to replicating the Halogen look at this price point.Lights are very bright I wish they made a 50w version. Lights look to be of decent quality but time will tell. My experience with LEDās is that they donāt last which is one of the reason you get them and pay a higher price. Iāll update review when one dies.No flickering but I do not use dimmers as seems to be the common complaint.Overall, Iām satisfied with these. Still not cheap at $6 per bulb but there are far more expensive ones in the market.I hope this helps.

Good, economical replacement for incandescent canned Par30 short
Our home has 35 or so can lights throughout, and a roomful can generate quite a bit of heat. To help with that, as well as get some savings on our electric bill I've swapped out the incandescent floods and spotlights with a several brands of Par30 Shorts. This brand has served me well. However, like most LED's, it's not great with dimming if you like your lamps to get that amber hue as they dim.Why Par30 Short? I've found these recess much better in a can light application. Longer bulbs or more popular BR 30s can often hang too low in the fixture, creating glare people see as they walk in the vicinity of the light. When the can receptacle is adjusted properly, Par30s can't be seen directly unless you're right under them. These Sunlite LED's are not spotlights that form a very narrow beam, but if you looking for broadly distributed light, you may want a BR-type bulb that hangs lower.I try to use 2700k bulbs for all my indoor lighting - 3000k max. I've read some people like even cooler than that for indoor kitchen/work room applications, but to me its just too harsh. Further, cool light frequencies have been shown to screw up circadian rhythms and can also permanently harm vision. I'm not an expert on color rendering (CRI) but to me these bulbs do a good job replacing the standard incandescents and no one seems the wiser.I've haven't tried to measure the life of these bulbs, but compared to my experience using Ecosmart bulbs from Home Depot, these last a lot longer. I was disappointed with the Ecosmarts, which seemed to have a few bad ones with limited life in each box of 6.While I haven't tried these on a dimmer, I've tried other brands of LED's on a dimmer and didn't like them because they do not "warm" as they dim. They simply become a dimmer white light. For those applications, like a media room, I used Philips "Warm Glow," which seem to accurately resemble an incandescent as it dims. I believe this requires multiple colors of LED's inside the bulb, which activate depending on how much power is applied, thus giving that amber glow as they dim. To be clear, these Sunlite bulbs probably dim just fine, but it will be a white/cool light as it dims.

Too white
Closer to 3000k than 2700k. Had to return because it clashed with our existing lights, but if you use only these it would be ok.

Extremely surprised
I took long enough trying to find a good set of par30 shortneck led bulbs for my kitchen. I didn't want to go to homedepot and pay an arm and leg for philipps led bulbs plus it doesn't look like they have the correct type anyway. They only carry par38 and there have been lots of reviews where people complain about the dimmability of the units. These however, are absolutely 100% identical in color as the incandescent ones until you go under 10% brightness, these LED ones kept a more pleasant illumination where the incandescent really struggle to stay dimly lit. I totally recommend these for someone replacing potlights for their kitchen. 2700k is perfect, and its very natural.

Great for pot lights
Been looking for a lower brightness led short neck par 30 for use in my pot lights for a couple years. These are perfect. Great brightness and warm colour without being too yellow. Great price too. Switching all my pit lights in the house to these now.
