Lightning McQueen Toddler Bed
WOW is this hunk of junk made poorly. Thank goodness my dad was in town to put it together for us. The pieces didn't align properly and ours didn't even have holes for goodness sake, so Dad had to McGyver it with a knife and a drill. Naturally, once my son saw the box and the pieces, I couldn't just send it back or saw it into little pieces and throw it in the dumpster like we wanted to do. He was too excited. Once the thing is put together (be sure to have a handy person, a drill with a long bit, a knife, and a TON of patience), it looks cute. However, putting it together was a nightmare and I am resentful that this company can get away with creating such a poorly made product. PLEASE LITTLE TIKES, TEST YOUR PIECES BEFORE BOXING AND SHIPPING! Ugh. So frustrated.

Not for kids that move while sleeping
My son loves this bed but it has been a headache for my husband and myself. Assembly was not hard but the stickers are a pain. They also cannot be moved once you put them on so be careful while applying. You will also need to purchase a board for under the mattress to keep the mattress in the bed. Without the board the mattress falls through and there are screws that stick out which scraped my sons legs. All of that is manageable and my biggest complaint is the large hard plastic edges all around the mattress. Everytime our son moves in the night his arm, leg or head hit the side causing a big thud and waking him up. This happens at least once a night if not more. We love the idea of the bed but the constant waking up because of sides is extremely frustrating.

Great for Child, PAIN for Parent
While our son loves this "big boy" bed, it was quite the pain to put together. Holes were in the wrong place, stickers were not as difficult as everyone makes them out to be. The pieces would not fit together because they were all different sizes - had to call and get a replacement side panel. It was a huge inconvenience and fight to get them to correct it. The plastic was sticking out too far and would not fit the other notch.PURCHASE PLANKS OR USE OLD CRIB SUPPORT BARS for the bed. As it does not come with any. The crib bed is not big enough to fit so be prepared to roll up some sheets for one side or the other so child doesn't fall between the bed and mattress.

2 adorable
OMG first of all I have to say this is so adorable! you won't be disappointed! The only thing that little tikes doesn't tell you is that you need to be prepared to buy a slab of wood when you purchase it. you have to dial little tikes toll free # to get the measurments of the wood. I paid about $17 for the slab of wood that I needed cut. I think it was about 51 X 29 and 3 inches in depth. anyhow, after I got the wood cut and wraped it with a blanket cause you have to expect about a 3in gap from fram to mattress to be exposed so no splinters. and that's about all folks. Other than that what I've found is that a lot of ppl are putting pillows on one side to compinsate for the space between. but all n all it's a fun bed and so is the bigger twin size lightening mcqueen bed. although the gaps are not fun use pillows and later I hope this nothing that ends up getting recalled because those gaps, to me, just shouldn't be there. it's easy to c how a little one might hurt him or herself in the process of playing or jumping from bed to bed. Gotta protect out children. It's nice to have but you as a parent have to make it safe enough for them to play and sleep on it even though the Makers don't.

McQueen makes nighty night fun!
I received the bed yesterday. I found it fairly easy to put together. I only had one issue of misalligned pre-drilled holes. So I simply redrilled myself. Thanks to everyone warning about the difficulty putting the stickers on, I was very careful. They did not turn out absolutely perfect, but overall look pretty darn good. Just a couple small wrinkles. I did have to purchase a 10 foot 2x4 and had it cut into 4 29 inch pieces to support the bed. This cost about $3 at Lowes. What is important is the look on my little boys face when he came home to see his new surpise. He loved it!!! He jumped up on the bed and rolled around with a huge smile on his face. We came down for dinner, and he said I want to go see McQueen again and kept running up and down the stairs to look.I am completely happy with the purchase, and I would have paid a lot more than I did knowing how much joy and happiness it created for my little boy. He fights going to bed every single night, but last night he wanted to go to bed! He will always remember his first cool little car bed for the rest of his life!

It's not the size I thought it would be!!!
I bought this bed for my 4 year old grandson. I was so excited for him to have a car bed since he loves Cars. When we ordered it together I was looking for the mattress size but couldn't find the specifications and thought it was for a toddler. When it finally arrived I was shocked. I thought it was a regular bed but instead it's a crib size bed. Yes, it takes a crib mattress! If I had known I would not had bought it since he already has a crib. I wasn't going to write a review because I don't like to say bad things about a company but every time I look at that bed I get so annoyed.

ehhh
A very cheaply made bed that my kid loved, but i think that somebody made a lot of money off of me. One of the sticker sets was cut either too deep , too shallow or just plain ripped before i touched it. probably cost about 40 bucks to manufacture.
