I didn't think a 'futuristic' soldering iron was a possibility, or was something I needed!
So soldering iron technology has advanced. What a crazy time to be alive!I am a hobbyist, and I work on hifi stuff mainly, but will do other little jobs when needed. This is the perfect soldering tool for my purposes - small, light, portable, quick to heat up, gets to high temps, quick to cool down, easy to use in situ on an item as opposed to having to move items to the iron. I actually can't believe how futuristic this thing is, it's crazy. The display is crisp and clear, the buttons are tactile, it feels well made even if it is very light. I don't know how it'd fare if it was used all day every day, but if you need to do a couple of soldering jobs a week, this is definitely the tool for you. It's worth the extra cash over a budget corded iron, that's for sure.

Does not heat up
Great idea and looks great and is a perfect size for keeping in your tool kit, but I could not get it to heat up from either the supplied USB adapter or a Samsung fast charge adapter that had exactly the same spec as the one supplied with the soldering iron, it just displayed Low-Vot. This definitely does not work from a USB quick charge power bank either, same message Low-VotSent it back to Amazon for a refund.

Fantastic tool for the soldering job
Been looking to buy one a ts80 soldering iron for a while now. Not disappointed in the least. The only down side is that as I ordered the 02 fine point tip there is no option to get it in the advanced kit form, as such I missed out on the silicone USB c cable that everyone raves about and the earthing cable, it's a wonder no one has yet come up with a charger that has a metal earth pin, that way earth continuity can be assured through the usb lead's screening around the usb core cables. The iron though is a wonderful piece of tech, has almost instant heating times with the default temp being reached in a couple of seconds.Still running it with the default firmware but there is an option for enhancement through several third party updated firmwares available on the internet.

Works with some PD power banks, but not all.
It's an excellent tiny iron, vary fast heat up time. I wanted something small and portable, but don't like gas irons or ones with built in power. This uses a USB C cable and comes with a mains adaptor. For portable use I use a car jump starter, this one;https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07WG1JVYJ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Far better than it has any right to be
This thing is a mini marvel, heats up quickly, recovers well, great tips. it's small light and portableYou may not expect much to look at it but this thing walks all over many full desktop stations. Sadly this one doesn't seem to come with the really nice flexible, burn proof USBC cable those in you tube reviews got but it's no major loss.In short if you're after a sub £100 soldering iron this should definitely be at the top of your list of considerations

Although the soldering iron itself and the plug in heating cartridge are in fact pretty good, the USB connection rather let's it down and becomes even more of an issue when using the supplied poor quality USB C lead. The lead is stiff and ruins the balance of an otherwise good little iron. This device should only be supplied with a silicone lead as intended as these are light weight, very flexible and are heat resistant.Only 3 stars due to the poor accessories included.

Perfect for LED Tape
I bought this iron due to it's portability. It's the perfect choice for soldering items such as LED Tape, Pixels are electronic projects. Heats up very quickly and can be plugged into a compatible USB battery pack.

Pleasantly surprised
Had my doubts this would heat up enough and fast enough to be useful, but am glad I did try it as it is very fast and practical.
