The Six Sigma Way Team Fieldbook: An Implementation Guide for Process Improvement Teams

I selected the book because it was either recommended or I enjoyed the synopsis. The book is for self development. It is a great book to read to expand knowledge.

I use this book as the foundation for our site Six Sigma project coaching. It has Six Sigma basics as well as project management basics and teambuilding tools and techniques. It is a terrific moderately priced handbook with fill in the blank forms and tollgate checklists that allow a team to monitor and complete their needed steps for a successful project. Using this book, teams complete the project through verification of the solution set and do not stop with the report of recommendations as they often did before we adapted the tool set in this book.

Great illustrations and breakdown of different modules to use anywhere.

A very good book, purchased as a class reference material. great content and will hold onto it for future reference.

A good implementation Guide for Six Sigma

I had a copy of this book at a former job. When I left, I ordered the book for my personal library because it is an excellent resource.

Six sigma is a joke, don’t waste your time

This is a good overview of 6 Sigma. I had read some very basic introductions but this one gives a lot more depth. It doesn't negate the need for training but it does reinforce training. It is very readable with a mix of case studies and templates as well as straight prose explanation.

One of the best Six Sigma books I have bought.There are a lot of helpful information and I like how the book provides lists of power tools for each stage of the DMAIC cycle.Recommended for anyone who wants to know more about Six Sigma and the DMAIC cycle in details.

Appaulingly dull and dry. A boring subject and a boring writing style have to be a bad combination. It may have use as an aide memoire but nothing else. Money wasted.

I would buy this book first for those learning six sigma as it gives great example for each tool. I needed a book that could explain the tools & the DMAIC well and this book does it well with great examples
