You Choose in Space

My daughter loves the You Choose and Just Imagine books. We read one of them almost every night and I was tired of the same two books so I bought this one to switch it up. She loves it. The pictures are fun.

My children LOVE this book. One of the hardest times I have ever seen my child laugh is when reading this book for the first time. We get to the page where you choose your space pet or space food .... and my kids just loose their minds laughing. I will read this book to them every night, just to hear the sound of their giggles.

Not as good as the original You Choose book but a lovely book nonetheless

We love the You Choose books! This one is great! I love all the unique mix of familiar things into something new. My kids choose this one to look to together over and over. I enjoy that is is a make your own story kind of book so every time can be different.

We initially borrowed this book from the library for my three year old daughter, she loved it so much we had to borrow it a few times!So, this was a Christmas gift - along with the other ‘You Choose’ books. Big hit! These are great books for any age. Couldn’t recommend enough. I can see this book being my daughter’s companion for a good number of years.There isn’t a lot of reading in them but a lot of great, detailed pictures on the pages so your child can choose where they’re going to go, see, do, wear, etc. It’s very much an interactive book, it’s really sparks imagination, my daughter and I have really nice conversations whilst going through this book.

The original You Choose is an absolute classic and has helped to pass the time on many long car journeys over the years for my two. They can literally spend hours pouring over the various scenarios. This was bought with a similar aim in mind. It's still great in that there's so much to look at and discuss on each page, so it certainly achieved that aim. However, with a specific theme to this version it was always going to feel a bit limited in comparison to the original. My children really like it, but I definitely prefer the original.

Bought for my daughter who loves this series of books, I was slightly unsure and wondered if the book would include enough.However she just loves it and we read it every night. Her favourite page is the one with mixed up animals, mine is the first page where you choose where on the spaceship you want to work.I still prefer the original one but a winner for a You Choose fan

My little boy has one of the other "you choose' books and on the back cover, it had a picture of this book and he had asking me for it for ages. So i decided to surprise him and his face when he opened the packing was a moment for me to cherish, so so happy!!We read the book that night and he was so excited with all the options and found the page with the different animal body/heads so funny!! My little boys reaction was worth the money for this book.

You Choose and Just Imagine are two of our go to books at bedtime, every single day. The volume of illustration in those is immense - so we were excited to see a new book coming to add to the arsenal. Unfortunately, You Choose in Space feels a bit lacklustre by comparison. There's noticeably fewer illustrations on each page - maybe the brief made coming up with them harder, but it definitely hasn't captured my son's imagination at all like the other two. Hope that the next one is crammed with creative stuff!
