Butterfly Girls Microfiber Opaque Colored Tights

These tights are thick and made well. They seem to run small though. I bought the size 4-7 for my small 4 year old. There is no way these will fit her when she 6 or 7. They will work well while she is 4 and maybe 5. She likes them and I hope they will keep her warm. They are thicker than her other tights, which also makes them stay tight really well, so maybe this is why they cost more than your average tights.

These definitely run small - I got them for my son (halloween costume!) and only have boys so I'm not an experience kids tights buyer, but he's a small 4 year old (somewhere around the 15-20th percentile for height - for those who know what that is...) and the 2-4 just barely made it (had to really stretch them up so the inseam wasn't hanging low). But they worked for his superhero costume and he was a happy camper!

My nine year old daughter loved them - but also snagged them and they ran pretty quickly. I would say this is not a product flaw so much as a hazards of having a nine-year-old wear nylons :) They were special for Birthday/Easter, so we were not disappointed. The color variety was a big plus. We also got a pair for my five-year-old (going on 16 years) and her way lower on the tomboy scale behavior ensured no snags.

Fits VERY small. My daughter's weight and height put her in the size 2-4 on this chart. I ordered the size 6-8 because of the reviews saying they fit small. I wish I had ordered the size 8-10. It is ridiculous how small these are. When I pulled them out of the package, I thought they must have mistakenly sent an infant size, but it was labeled the 6-8. We are used to Bloch brand tights (for ballet), in which my daughter wears the age-appropriate labeled size. These are SO, SO tiny. Order THREE sizes up.

My daughter is 4 1/2, slim and tall. These tights are a bit challenging to get on, but once they are on, they are fine. I was hoping that these would last her for a little while, but I think at the next growth spurt we'll have to go up a size. The color is bright and fun and my daughter really likes these tights.

Loved it, but runs small. My daughter is 7 and I got the 8-10 size, and she is pretty skinny and tall. Hoping this will last a little longer, lout it will probably just last this yr. it is thick and I will buy this brand again! Great price!

These are decent tights but there is a heavy line around the thigh on the colored versions, sort of like a built-in panty or something, and I would prefer a solid color all the way up the leg since my daughter is wearing these with a leotard.

They run VERY small. MY daughter is 8 yrs. and I bought size 8-10. They barely fit, and we had to stretch them a lot to get them on. But the material is very nice for girls. FIrst wear and no holes or runs which is unusual for her.
