This is a fantastic product, and sooooo cheap compared to the brands. I use it all the time in rice dishes. Totally fabulous and affordable. I sprinkle the seeds over my rice while steaming it. the aroma is great and helps me with my never ending upset stomach. oh, you can learn how to make steamed rice, Indian or Persian-Afrghan, on youtube. just sprinkle the seed on the rice as you begin steaming it. it moisten and softens the seeds (by the way, i alternate between fennel seed and 'black seed' to keep the variety. you can buy those here as well on amazon)

I bought them to increase my milk supply by making a tea (add a tablespoon of fennel seeds to a mug of boiling water + a tablespoon of fenugreek and add honey to taste). I also heat them in dry pan a little bit and grind them to use as a spice for meatballs, kuftah, chicken, or when I make homemade bread. Heating the seeds brings out the natural oils in them and make them more fragrant. A great deal. The seeds fresh, fragrant and inexpensive.

I ordered this large bag of fennel seeds in 2022 for adding to my favorite turkey sausage recipe......I still have some left for a few more batches and when I open the bag the aroma is still as fresh smelling as when I first bought it. You can never forget that wonderful licorice-like smell. The seeds themselves are just as flavorful as ever. I will continue to buy this brand when I run out..........

I've got fennel seeds coming out of my ears now. It's either 4 dollars for 3 ounces or ten dollars for a ton! I bought the ton. The only difference I can see is the amount of dust and dried husks. I'll take it out in the yard and give it a good couple of wind throws to remove the excess husks... Kinda like you do with rice...

I didn't realize fennel was the very whispy Licorice plant that used to crowd the hillside behind the house. But yep - and it's a serious taste boost to sprinkle a few in your baking - or sprinkle a few on top. It's like a kick in the taste buds.

I ordered the Frontier Fennel Seeds a week ago and am very happy with the quality. I ordered them for eating after meals or before a few times a day. I read that the seeds have diuretic properties and are thought to be good for weight loss. I have not noticed the diuretic qualities but I have noticed that my digestion has dramatically improved since eating a handful of the seeds a couple of times a day. I have never really seen such an improved and remarkable change that quickly and I know these are what are doing it. They are doing something very positive in my stomach and I am feeling better because of that. I have yet to make fennel tea. 16 ounces is a huge amount of seeds and will last a long time even with ample daily consumption. I am really happy with them and would order again. Update- It is now 8/31/2020 and I have been ordering this on subscribe for over a year. I have ordered it seven times and it has been equally good each time. I have tried other brands and have been so surprised at how different brands can vary so greatly in taste.
