I got this as a play pen for my 8 week old kitten to give him somewhere safe and peaceful to get used to his new home and much, much bigger new brothers (3 very large cats).My kitten loves it. He hasn’t actually used it to sleep in because it turns out he is fearless and the big boys run away from him, but his litter tray and food are in there to keep them separate from the other lads and he uses it as a massive toy (whilst ignoring his actual toys).I was worried at first about it being torn to shreds or my kitten catching a claw or tooth on it but it has held up remarkably well and the kitten hasn’t hurt himself.I’m really, really impressed with this product. I put puppy pads on the floor as other reviews said it wasn’t so waterproof but we’ve not had any accidents yet.Perfect for a little kitten!

Excellent product. Ordered this urgently as we took on an abandoned 4 week old kitten and as we already have a dog and 2 cats we needed something relatively secure for her as she's so tiny.. We needed something where she couldn't do herself an injury wig we went out etc. Also our cats wouldn't necessarily harm her intentionally but may do without realising their own strength. Also, being so small, our dog might see her as prey so we needed something for her to go in when we're at work.As she's so small, it fits a bed, some toys, waterbowl and food bowl and a miniature litter tray. As she gets older she'll hold her bladder longer so the litter tray will move out so she'll still have more room to grow it in.We also have a small cocker spaniel who will easily fit inside this as a bed crate which is an added bonus as we'd planned to get him one of these so we had a crate we could easily fold down into the provided carry bag for family visits or stays away etc. This was bought as sole purpose for the new kitten, thinking the size would be smaller than pictured but it's now got a double life.It's reasonably sturdy but also flimsy, which it would have to be to be foldable. So don't expect a tent like crate that's super strong. It's like a kids car windscreen sunshield, the ones that sort of origami down into a quarter of the size for storage. It wouldn't stand the test of a puppy who is a bit destructive/chews a lot and it'll be put to the test once the kitten gets older and stronger but for now, it's excellent.Access wise there's a zip top that zips all the way round so you can easily access 'from above' plus a cat flap size entrance on one of the panels (which is fully zippable). The base seems shower proof, we caught a kitten tiddle in there before we'd had chance to add the litter tray.. However we caught it seconds after she'd done it, it hadn't seeped through the bottom and it dabbed and wiped clean no problem.. Though I suspect had that piddle puddle been there longer it probably would have eventually seeped through.Overall very pleasantly surprised.

My cat absolutely adores this, it is roomy, airy, and provides moderate protection from the sun. It is large, and she adores it. She will quite happily go in on her own accord and will happily sit in there for hours, shes and indoor cat and has allergies. This allows us to give her outdoor time without fear of her escaping getting injured or triggering her allergies. Would 1000% recommend. Ive included a few pictures of my cat Roxy chilling in her tent.

This looked like such a good idea, light, foldable, easily transported and suitable as a puppy play pen. Sadly, in my experience it isn't suitable for a puppy, it may be suitable for a very docile older dog or a very small animal such as a Guinea pig but it soon became apparent it wouldn't work for an 8 week Cairn Terrier pup. The first problem occurred when the pup jumped up at the sides of the pen, the sides collapsed in on her trapping her in a very small space. To solve this we cut a piece of lino to fit the bottom of the pen to give it some more stability, this stopped the sides collapsing but the puppy was then able to tip the whole pen over on it's sides and roll it about across the floor. She even managed to turn it completely upside on a couple occasions. We tried wedging the pen into a corner and blocking it in with a magazine rack, this stopped her knocking it over so she got bored and chewed holes in the side panels! At this stage we gave up and bought an Amazon metal indoor kennel which has been brilliant. I'm sure with some modifications this could be a good product but not at the moment.

Our new kittens love this tent so much. It's easy to set up, very spacious and can be folded down very quickly. Best money I've ever spent on a cat carrier/play pen.

We have had our puppy for a couple of months now and have already bought a tonne of accessories for her as we were starting from scratch. Of all the things we bought, I reckon this was the best value as it has taken a lot of punishment (she loves to chew on the doorway and 'dig' in the corners) but it's really tough and showing no real signs of wear and tear at this stage. It's light-weight which makes it easy for us to carry up and down stairs and it folds up into a nice compact little package for easy transport. The sides can also collapse in individually which is handy for wedging it into corners. Highly recommended.
