An excellent synopsis of the myriad of environmental issues currently facing our planet. There is in depth scientific detail broken down so that any intelligent student can understand the concepts. I will be keeping this as a reference in my collection of useful books after my class ends. Well worth it.

Purchased for my son's class, it has been an excellent reference for his biology class. The book appeared to be unused, although it was sold as used, and delivery was so fast, it arrived before I expected it and he had it for his first day of class. Excellent service, thank you.

Did not use in college but solid book

I choose this rating because I got the book that I ordered. This is what I needed it and that's what I got. Simple!I actually did not go through any hassle everything went pretty easy.I would probably recommend this site to all my friends that go to school and need books as well as deals like this one. Good condition and it saved me a buttload of money. What more could I ask for?

It came promptly on time for a class I was taking. Yet, I wish I have a better opinion of it. I tried to never complain about it since it was required for a class, so I had no choice. It was overwhelming as a full time student to read all of the information in each chapter. And there aren't any end-of-the-chapter summaries or reviews, in which I was hopeful for. However, it is a very good book for concise and detailed information. If you have the time to read it, go for it! I wish I did.

Great book for my science class. Was able to save $100 by not purchasing at campus book store.

The book was great and as described, but the package was beyond beat up and had a few tears in it which showed up a little on the cover. Other than that it was worth the purchase.
