Duckbill 88-DB1 Earth Anchor - Large (Pack of 2)

We used these to anchor large treated wood for the ends of our grape fence. They were easy to install and seem very well built. Time will tell if they hold our fence in place over the years.

These were excellent! We had a medium sized plum tree partially blow over in a storm and we thought it was a lost cause. Part of the root system was still intact, so we were able to upright the tree and hold it in place with (Qty 2) duckbill anchors (size large) and cable. We have rocky ground, but were still able to drive these into the ground to a good depth. They are very stable. Its been about a month now and several storms later the tree is doing great. We'll probably need to keep these in place for at least 2 years for the tree to make a full recovery and I believe these Duckbill anchors are up for the job. I would definitely recommend these for any project that requires a reliable anchoring method.

These anchors installed and locked in place easily using the steel drive tool purchased separately. I did use some bearing grease on the end of the drive tool to ensure that the it would pull out since some reviews indicated that it, at times, is difficult to remove the tool.

Easy to install, strong, lightweight. Prefer non rocky soil
