Replaced My H.F. Aluminum Case Handle
After storing all of my 1/4" and 3/8" sockets and wrenches in a H.F. aluminum case Due to the excessive weight I discovered the original case handle was going to have to be replaced and re-enforced with a much stronger handle. I used this new spring loaded handle on the outside of the case a 12" steel bar on the inside of the case and short #10-24 bolts and nuts to secure the new handle to the aluminum case. Works perfectly. I would have given this handle 5 stars except that it doesn't swing up to a 90 degree angle. It stops short at about an 80 degree angle as shown in the photo. I feel the pair of handles were priced fairly, happy about the purchase, and would purchase them again.

Spring loaded handles
These handles are spring loaded, so they won't flop open and tuck nicely tight against what they are fastened to. Easy installation. They have two drawbacks for my use. One, they are gloss black and I wish they were more of a Matte finish. Two, the handles have a plastic roller that is not great. It would be nice if it was rubber instead.

Great solid handles
Great solid handles. I chose these because they were black, solid, cushion pad and spring loaded. When you let go of the handles, they retract back, so they don’t flop around, make noise, or get caught on something. The handles go to about 90 degrees and stop, so they feel more solid and you won’t pinch your fingers!

Great handles for DIY truck bed slider tray
Nice sturdy handle. I’ve used it heavily since I got it and so far not even a rattle in the mechanism. The spring load is just about perfect, retracting everytime with ease.

Holding up well.....
I added these to a 55lb plywood tour 'case' I made. So far, two gigs in and they're holding up well. Will update if they take a dive within the year. Otherwise, ample sized handles with grippy rubber coating. A good value.
