Unfortunately, Sanwa doesn't make an official circle restrictor gate, so if you want one it's off to the aftermarket. This does what's advertised and I like it better than an octagonal gate with its notches (whether it's better than the stock square gate I'm not so sure). My biggest gripe is that I think the diameter is a bit too small and it can lead to missed inputs in circular motions if you aren't fully riding the gate. You might be able to mitigate this with an oversized actuator.

This made fighting games like street fighter better. Before it was hard to do basic special moves.

Not that sharp with diagonals but good enough to get the job done with getting used to.

the circular hole is huge and it lets you do things an octagon plate wont. straight up... first day I noticed.

Very simple swap from the stock JLF square gate to this. Execution has gotten much better for several fighting games. Would recommend you give it a shot.

For those who don't want to feel restricted by octo or square gates I love the freedom this has to offer, enough said.
