The box and cards were all beautiful and good quality. Made a great gift for my mom.

The item itself is exactly as advertised! The box is sturdy, and the magnets that hold the lid to the base are strong. Just for fun, I flipped the box upside down (while empty) and shook it, and the lid stayed secured to the base. The wood was beautiful, and came with that brilliant 'old wood' scent. The cards themselves were also marvelous! You're not receiving glossy paper that allows the ink to smudge when you touch it, and the patterns on them are really cute. The dividers are even cuter, and they are made of something a bit smoother and softer than the recipe cards. You receive three of each, and the colors and patterns go very well together. The conversion card may have been my favorite part, as I often forget and resort to the internet to find specific conversions, thus allowing my phone case to get slightly wet. The fonts on this card differ from those on the box and the recipe cards, all perfectly elegant! Overall, I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase. Five stars. Thank you!

My dear granddaughter is getting married and I wanted to give her a meaningful gift for her bridal shower. Well, this is PERFECT!! I can compile my favorite recipes with those of her friends and family and have a gift she will treasure for a lifetime. The recipe cards are durable and have appealing designs, I also purchased the extra set of cards so there are plenty. The dividers keep the recipes organized and the recipe box is well built. This recipe box is perfect. It is so cute on the kitchen counter and just the right size to be noticeable without being too big and take up too much space. The cards that come with it are also very beautiful. I even ordered an extra set of the cards just to have more space for future recipes. The first box that arrived was a bit damaged. As soon as I emailed Kara/the company, she immediately fixed the situation and sent me a new box. She did not even request that I send back the previous box and made life very easy and convenient. On top of that, when I got the new box (in a matter of a couple days I might add), she had included a thoughtful note addressed to me and also included a couple of free notebooks to show her appreciation and make up for the mistake with the damage. It wasn't necessary, but so appreciated and really shows their quality customer service and desire to make things right if a customer isn't satisfied with anything. I would highly recommend both the product and the business!

Bought this to use for my daughter's bridal shower. Sent out cards along with invites to allow people to fill them out and share recipes with the bride. The cards and dividers are adorable. My daughter was excited to have a great recipe box and can't wait to fill it all up. The slit in the top that holds recipe cards for easy reading is also very cool and will come in handy. Took off one star as I thought this had a magnetic closure in the lid, but it turns out this one doesn't and the other option (brown box) does, so that was disappointing. Also the hinges are extremely loose, causing it to slam open and closed unless you are very careful with it. Not a deal breaker, but as loose as it is, I am hoping it doesn't break. Overall a great little item.

Just buy it! Buy it for you, your mom, your sister-in-law, or any men who love cooking, just BUY IT! It’s just beautiful to look at, touch, and use! I simply love this recipe box! Countless times I’ve called my mom at the grocery store a day before a holiday tracking down all the ingredients to my favorite family recipes... then jotting down the directions on the receipt! It needed to stop! I needed to grow up and plan meals and that meant writing down/keeping track of recipes. The cards are thick card stock, the box is wood, and there is even a slot to hold up the recipe (for the messy bakers like me)! Just buy it, you won’t regret it. I’m not getting paid to write this, (but I won’t turn down any free gifts ;) ) it’s truly worth the money!

Bought this Recipe Box as a gift to myself after Christmas and it was exactly what I was looking for! The box is constructed well and is overall really good quality. There is a magnetic closure and holds a lot of cards. The recipe cards included are made with a quality card stock. I use felt-tip pens (marker-like) and they do not bleed through at all! I have already purchased another card set from this seller! The set also comes with a handy measure conversion chart and cute recipe dividers. I will have fun writing out all of my family recipes and creating new ones!

Looks white in the photos, but it was actually a light brown, light wooden colour. But overall, still a good product.

I purchased this item as a Christmas gift for my daughter I was delighted with the appearance and quality of this recipe box; it is exactly what I was looking for. I'm sure that my daughter will love her gift!

It's the best

Recipe box arrived promptly. When I opened it however the lid doesn’t quite fit on top of the box and there are several gouges in the corners and sides of the box. Even though it seemed as though the shipping box seemed adequate it looks like it potentially got damaged in one of the corners. The recipe cards seem really nice though and are quite thick and the colours and patterns are very attractive.
