These are wonderful for taking walks in Wisconsin winter weather. Most of the sidewalks and roads where I walk are clear, but there are often icy patches. I tested these on some icy spots, and they grip well. They give me confidence to walk in winter, even with the early darkness we have daily right now. I find it's better to place them on my boots before the boots are on my feet, and then carry my boots to the door so I don't damage the floor. They have been very secure throughout my entire walk route when I have done that. I wear a women's 6.5, and the Small size was perfect. I highly recommend this product.

These microspikes are perfect for the minor ice that I encounter during end of the season hikes, or hiking where the elevation isn't too high. For thicker ice you would need more traction. They've held up well so far.

1st time I used these , the studs came lose...lost traction...kept slipping n sliding all over the place....zero stars

These are not good for weedeating on a bank. Probably not good for ice either. Kept slipping off my boots

I live in a retirement condo village area sort of..... My neighbor is a bit older than me and he wanted a set of cleat thingys so he could get his mail at the box thru the snow. I bought him a pair....they work well...but I still feel better if I get his mail. I would heal faster from a broken hip.... I love my neighbors!

Adds traction for sure! Not ice climbing or anything but out shoveling or walking around these really help!

These cleats fit tightly around my size 13 shoes and they stay firmly in place.
