These cleats do exactly what they're supposed to do. They give you fantastic grip on ice. If you're a mountain climber they will give you extra traction on rough rocky terrain. They fit perfectly over top my extra large Timberland PRO boots size 15 wide. They're very easy to slip on and off. During the past snow storm I use these so I could walk confidently on ice and snowy surfaces without worrying about slipping and falling. I was also using a cleat fitted to the bottom of my walking cane. The combination of the two gave me complete confidence to walk among the ice and snow without worrying about slipping and losing my balance. They are only meant to be worn outside on rough surfaces. Do not try and wear them where surfaces may be smooth. They will slip and slide on smooth surfaces, such as hard smooth tile surfaces. They can also tear up a wooden floor. I suggest you put them on right before you need to use them to go outside, or keep them on an extra pair of boots and swap out when you get outside to where you need to go. They could probably puncture holes in your carpeting as well. They are very tough. They take a little bit of time getting used to walking with them. After a while you don't even know you have them on. They have a very specific purpose. You can't just leave them on all the time.

Easy to attach to boots. Easy to adjust for different footwear. Large can be used on size 10 hiking boots but also worked on size 7 winter boots. I felt very safe walking on my slanted driveway after an ice storm. The traction provided was awesome

Very easy to put on. Once on they are very stable. They work perfectly on ice , traction is exceptional.

Mising strap. (Addressed) I used it on a 4 hours hike with packed snow over ice surface and it performed perfectly even without the straps. It went on my hiking boots without problems and stayed on properly stretched for the entire hike. Very pleased with the product. Update: The vendor contacted me and stated they are sending a replacement strap. Will update accordingly. Update2: To my complete surprise a pair of straps arrived in the mail. Rating updated to 1 to 4 starts. But it should have been there in the first place. So, 1 star deducted.

I purchased thse crampons just 2 days ago and received them the next day. Thanks for great service from Amazon. They came with a carry on bag which is a great plus. The velcro strap is a good add on to keep things tied up while hiking. Took them earlier today for a 3 mile hike. They trail had a a mix of snow and a lot of Ice. I felt totally confident, the grip was amazing on the icy part, both uphill and downhill and it felt like I am walking naturally, never lost a stride. They also added stability on the snowy part, no slipping at all. Great product. Will have to test longevity over time.

These cleats are totally amazing! I had slipped on the ice a couple of times and decided to try these ice cleats No slipping whatsoever …very stable grip and gets your confidence back when snow shoveling or hiking Seem very durable and overall easy to walk while on snow or ice…do t reco on “clean” road surfaces

Stretched these over muck boot size 10 fit no problem and stay in place even while walking through deep snow. They grip the ice for sure footing and are comfortable. no problems with breaking either. I use the other brand on lighter shoes yuk track and have had some issues with those over the years. I recomend these for winter boots, they work great and so far (2 weeks) have held up great.

I used these for some icy and snowy winter hiking up steep ascents. These worked as well as any other spike ive tried, and kept their grip on icy rock patches and packed snow. Definitely confidence inspiring putting them on. The size charts seem accurate and they stretch enough to put them on easily, though some practice may be required. These are a great value compared to some of the name brand spikes
