Bent at first use. Way too bendy.

The first time I used these was in soft dirt. It literally rained much of the day. The stakes bent going into this soft ground. No rocky soil or anything.

I use these to stake down inflatable holiday decorations at home and RV parks. I prefer the red over silver or black because they are easier to see/find when taking down or if they get dropped or pulled out accidentally. They are lightweight, easy to push into soft ground and can be hammered into fairly hard ground in Western US deserts. They are easy to remove when done. They hold up fairly large inflatables or small plywood decorations well even in high winds (up to 25-35mph). 6 years later, several are bent from hitting rocks or roots hammering them in or being run over by cars, trucks and golf carts . I feel I got my $$ worth and repeat purchaser.

These seem really nice for the price. They're light and strong in my initial testing. These feel a lot like the stakes that came with my Alps tents and those are really good stakes. I haven't needed to aggressively pound them into packed earth yet but they seem sturdier than the thin steel stakes I was using for my tarp. They certainly bite the ground better as they're thicker and have more surface area. The anodized finish is nice as well and hasn't scratched off yet. I really like them and I'm glad I bought them.

If you have nice clay these are great. Hit a rock and they bend. For the Northeast, with all our rocks they are bent. Even at different angles they do seem to pull out easy as well. I don't really trust them myself.

They bend very easily. You can't put them in with your foot, rock, or with a hammer or they will bend to the point that they can't be used. On my first trip with them, I ruined 3.

These aluminum stakes are strong, long, and easy to see. The stakes will last for years and years. Note: I bought a 10-pack and it came with 11, nice bonus.

Was surprised at how lightweight these are. Bent one on a rock but thankfully I have extras.
