Unizone UZ-9088S Portable Rechargeable Voice Amplifier Public Address (PA) Microphone & Speaker - Black

It didn't work when I got it. Or actually would not charge to work. It would work just fine plugged up, but that defeats the purpose of portable when you have to wear it. The volume sounds great. As it turns out, the battery was defective. I bought a new battery (approx. $30) to replace the one it came with . It then worked after all. However, I haven't tested the charging yet to make sure it's charging. The place where I bought the battery from said they sell chargers for the battery. However, they sold out. That will cost me another $17 if the built-in charging doesn't work. I did use it in cycling class and it worked fine. The mic does have to be right at my mouth for folks to hear me loud and clear through the speaker and through the music in the background.

WOW! i wasnt expecting much from this product considering what it is ,but i was VERY surprised at the quality of this item.It not only amplifies your voice but it does so with pretty good clarity and the item itself is Very well made and not real bulky,about the size of o stack of maybe a little wider and thicker than a pack of cigs. There are different models signified by the Letter at the end of the description(UZ-9088(S)) for example so you might want to check out all the models first.Mine did not have a Mem card slot but i didnt notice it when i ordered it which is my fault but i would DEF recommend this item to anyone.(A must for Helmeted Cosplay Costumes!)

So far, this works perfectly. It took me awhile before I could figure out that a piece in the battery compartment has to be lifted out in order to insert the battery though, and I still cannot figure out how the shoulder strap attaches. Other than that, both of which was due to inadequate instructions, this is a truly competent piece of equipment for my needs, which are to use it in my newly formed MeetUp group.

Couldn't even figure out how to get a battery into this thing. No instructions. Finally got it to "work" and kept shifting on my daughter's head so microphone thing wss all over the place (amd hence, so was the sound). So many pieces for something that should be basic...lost a few or else I would have returned immediately!

Work Okay in a small class room. But don't expect more.

This is exactly what I needed for our use. The sound is clear and projects really loudly if you want it to (the volume button works well). Battery stayed charged for an 8 hour day with no problem. Very nice product for the price.

Used it for the first time today and the crowd I was addressing heard my soft voice just fine. Worked great!

Microphone cable quality should be improved.
