My spine is fused C-2 through T-12. As a practical matter, I have no range of motion in my neck and upper back. Additionally, I have restricted range in the lower back. The inability to twist and turn impacts driving. I greatly increased side and rear vehicle visibility by spending less than $20 on a blind spot mirror. (Link below.) Still, the mirror didn't address my need to look behind and the side. I heard about a swivel seat so did an Amazon search to see if I could find one. This one came up, along with others. I liked this one the best mostly because of the reviews and the 2" cushion. There is a caveat in the description which informs that it will not fit all vehicle seats. FYI: This swivel seat fits a 2015 Nissin Murano driver's seat perfectly. The gel makes it very comfortable. I love everything about this seat. I am 125 pounds, 5'1" and the seat fits me very well. However, for a larger person it probably would be too small and might be really tight on the back of upper legs. I weigh 180 lbs. This was my third one, but no more. The bearings are not made well, and they destroy the plastic grooves they are seated within. After my second one broke (within 2-3 months), I pulled it apart further and saw the flimsiness of it. The cushion material is really good, and is always "fresh". The bearings (in plastic housing), and the plastic grooves are REALLY disappointing for this price. I even tried WD-40 to prolong the inevitable...no dice. WAY overpriced for the quality.

I cannot get this cushion to swivel in the car due to the uneven car seat. It is a good quality...it just didn't work for me in the manner I expected.

Seat gets hard after setting on We got for passenger seat in Toyota Camry but can’t get to fit properly but still trying to out some way to get to fit

I bought this pad for my mom, who spends most of the day sitting in a recliner. The pad is thick and provides a lot of cushion on hard surfaces, but doesn't work great in the recliner. She carries it to the dining room, and uses it for those hard wooden chairs, and loves it. Just be aware, it won't flex, and doesn't work very well in a chair that has a cushioned bottom.

Purchased this for use with a limited mobility individual. It works great. The swivel permits a turn without having to move or scoot. It does not move during travel and is comfortable so one forgets it’s there. Should know that some materials like a sweater makes it difficult to get in and out of car. But we just make sure to pull it up so it’s not sat on and problem solved. So far this has been great for us and helps me by not having to bend over and lift. So far the individual is able to manage on own with minimal assistance from me.

I would have given my FOMI seat all 5 stars but I do not like that the top cover will not stay on. Every time I get out of my car it comes off, and when I try to put it back on it won’t fit and then the material under it starts to rip.

I really think this item is great. My only thing I would like to see is ameans of locking it when in the car. How to do this I don't know.

This is a great product. It helps someone with mobility issues get in and out of a vehicle. Place the turntable on the seat, lower the person until they are sitting on it and then you/they swivel through 90 degrees until they are facing forwards. Same for getting out, swivel through 90 degrees then help the person out of the vehicle. We have found that it works better on a flatter seat than bucket seats. The raised seat sides can interfere with the movement of the turntable. Cover comes off to wash.

This is my third one (desk chair, computer desk, kitchen table) so I would need to keep moving them.Couldn't manage without them
