Mahabharata: The Greatest Spiritual Epic of All Time

I would recommend this book to anyone who would like to read Mahabharata, as all characters, stories behind them are well explained. Big shoutout to the author as well.

Don't read for the religion but read it for the story Mahabharata is a book that is filled in grey and you may not always agree with the rationale. Put yourself in the characters shoes and see how you would work thru the ethical issues involved. Obviously the epic has a brilliant story to tell but it is much more than that

this book is particularly good for first time readers like me. Also, i prefer to read books and interpret it for myself before I read other people's opinion, perspective or commentary on the same. My thanks and respects to the author of the book.

A good mix of story telling with unabridged text from the Mahabharata. Very Readable.

This great epic is undoubtedly the best of the best. One can't stop after starting to read the book. There are some fine points that the book misses, may be that's intentional but it covers most aspects and has been explained extremely well. With over 900 pages this one is an amazing read and most recommended.

Amazingly presented - easy to understand the flowing philosophy behind. The characters reveal the different natures of humans and how they interact under various situations. Very inspirational to read thru. A masterpiece under any measure....

One of the best translations of the Mahabharata, the rendition to the classic is immaculate. Can't stop reading it.

頻繁にインドに行く人にとってマハーバーラタの知識は必須。 枝葉を取り払って、パンダヴァとカウラヴァの話に絞って800ページにまとめられているので、読みやすい。 人名や地名の読み方がわからないので、オーディオブックが必要になる。 しかし、このオーディオブック、読んでる人が途中で唾を飲んだりため息ついたりお腹が鳴ったりするので、ちょっと気持ち悪い。

Very faithful and easy-to-read rendering of this greatest of epics filled with timeless wisdom and philosophy. Very much appreciate this author's efforts and the gripping and faithful rendering.

Shanti Parvam is missing and also Bhagvadgeeta could have been elaborated (it was not written on purpose by author) , however I gifted this book to my Catalan husband and its really good to get the picture of the great Mahabaratha war and basic understanding.

A classic works, this one by Krishna Dharma is very authoritative for Hindu's like myself. As well to all people, everywhere. It has a jacket to this amazing works. The website picture is underneath the dust jacket. It is beautifully presented. It contains hand drawn pictures in black, white etc, here and there, bringing this fab works more to life! Krishna Dharma in this edition tells it so well. I fully recommend this greatest epic of all time!
