Never Girls #3: A Dandelion Wish (Disney: The Never Girls)

My daughter is obsessed!! Thank you for this cute series!

My 6 year old daughter is a big fan of Disney Fairies. Her favorite color is blue so her favorite fairy is Silvermist. She has been a big fan of the Pixie Hollow Tales book series and we probably have a dozen of those books. When we saw this new series, we picked up the first book as soon as we could. The first Never Girls book was great. It had a slightly lower reading level making it a better reading book for my daughter. She is good with the first series, but struggles on a few words here and there. In addition, there is a lot of consistency between the Never Girls series and the Pixie Hollow series meaning some of the terms that are unique to the Disney Fairies universe are used in both books. The consistency makes the new series a great compliment to the original. Now that we knew she loved the Never Girls series, we ordered books 2 and 3, which she finished in a matter of a few days, and pre-ordered books 4, 5 and 6. Once Never Girls #4 arrived, she finished it in a matter of days and really enjoyed it just like the previous books. We have since ordered every book in this series. Wow, this was another adventure of the Never Girls, which is an amazing book series. This one was mostly about Mia, Gabby, and Iridessa. I love how all of the. Never Girls books has a different main character, and I like how there is always a new, surprising adventure. Whoever made this book, it is amazing... Both the amazing illustrations and the wonderful adventures that there are in each book! There's nothing that I dislike about this amazing, epic book. I would recommend that everyone who likes adventure, a thrill, and a touch of magic should get this book. The Never Girls are some best friends who found a way to get to Pixie Hollow, a magical land of fairies, in Never Land. Whoever has read this book, I say that you should get the next one... For, of course, it will hold another thrilling and magical adventure. The author knows what every amazing book must have, and the illustrator is a wonderful artist. Who knows what will happen in the next Never Girls book? It will always be a mystery.

My youngest daughter (just turned 9) does not love reading. She reads well, but she just doesn't get lost in a book the way her siblings do, and as I have always done. I picked up the first book in this series without much hope. She loves fairies, and Tinkerbell in particular, but other stories involving Tink haven't managed to capture her attention. But these - WOW! I don't quite understand why - I read them, and while I think they are cute and well-written and definitely nothing I have any objection to her reading - I don't understand why these seem so different to her. But they do and that's all that matters! She read the first one in two days, she's never done that before with a chapter book, the second one in half that time and immediately asked me for more. I pre-ordered this third one and she loves it just as much. She tells me all about them, she gets lost in them, and most importantly she wants to read them without any prodding or suggesting from me. And that, for me, earns five stars!

Never Girls #3: A Dandelion Wish (Disney Fairies) (A Stepping Stone Book(TM))  I ordered this new series books by Disney for my 9 year old granddaughter who is stayed with me through the month of July. We went to our local library to find books about fairies since that is what she has been into since visiting Disney Land two years ago. She read all the early reader Disney books. She read all three books in 2 days. I had to let her stay up until 10:30 to finish the last one because she said she couldn't sleep until she did. I'm so glad Disney has put this new series of books, Never Girls, out for pre-teens. She can't wait to book number 4 to be released. I hope Kiki Thorpe will write more adventures of the Never Girls.

My Granddaughter loves this series. I have bought her several and she loves reading them. I definitely recommend this series.

My daughter loves these books. They are basically written on a third grade level, but my daughter, whose reading level is far above grade level, still enjoys reading them for fun. They keep her interested, and I continue to buy the next book in the series for her as they are released. My younger daughter, who is in 2nd grade, has just started the series and she enjoys them as well. The first book was purchased for my older daughter by her teacher. The books are well written, with proper syntax and grammar, but also written in a "child's voice". If your child likes fantasy and magic, these are great books!

Within the first few minutes of opening the shipping package, it became instantly apparent that the binding (aka glue) was inaqdequate. The first few chapters fell out of the book, page after page. My daughter was so disappointed.
