Works Perfectly, No Milling Needed
Been a while since installation. Used on an EFI intake tapped for a single barrel carb for a 4.9L 300 Inline Six. Now I'm running a 2-barrel 2100 series carb. Doesn't leak and stays secure. Definitely recommend to anyone wanting to get more power per dollar.

Works great on my 73 f250 I-6. Perfect fit to upgrade the old Carter single barrel to a Holley 2 barrel.

Does not fit carbureted manifold for 300i6(pre 1986 factory intake manifold)
First things first this will not fit a Ford 300i6 with a factory carbureted intake manifold despite it saying it does... The studs from the manifold are about 1/8" wider on each side (total of 1/4" off) so you'll need to drill the holes from 3/8" to 1/2" in order for it to work. Of course this will cause your bolt heads to stick further fromcenter. It did not cause clearance issues on my autolite 2100 carburator. Carb still was able to open the butterflies all the way without any contact. With that being said you can pretty much guarantee that you'll have fuel sitting in the area that's drilled. In order to not have the fuel just eat my gasket from sitting in the other half of the hole(since you have to drill out further it leaves open space) I opted to use some high temp JB-Weld in the open area and hopefully that works out long term.Second thing. I'm incredibly upset with the god awful casting. It is SO bumpy. I ended up taking a Dremel with a sander bit and cleaning it up. It is ROUGH when you get it out of the box. They definitely did not even attempt to get this thing to be smooth. There was zero sanding, zero smoothing. Just casted the piece and shipped it.Some positives though! The faces are most definitely milled flat. You will not deal with a vacuum leak from this adapter. Also the mounting holes on the 2bbl side are DEAD ON perfect for an autolite 2100 carburator or anything with the same bolt pattern. If I had to take a guess I'd say the single barel side is closer to the Chrysler slant 6 bolt pattern.Hope that dump of info helps anyone with questions. It's a good product if it actually fits your application. Other than some rough surface on the inside. But if you're putting a 2bbl on a 1bbl manifold you're definitely not worried about it not being silk smooth... Not exactly a performance piece...

Good construction
Have not installed as of yet however, it appears to be solid and of good quality.

Fits ford 300
Fits stock 300 manifold just fine however, the Orientation of the carburetor is the opposite of factory with this adapter and makes hooking up the throttle cable a real joy
