Works perfectly and looks beautifully made
Mine arrived exactly when expected and it was working right out of the box. I ordered a different band when I ordered this watch only because I knew I didn't like the crocodile leather band. For someone who liked that style it seems like a sturdy well made band. I can't give a review on it fully because I haven't worn it. I've had the watch for a few days and it's been fully functional. Keeps time, and I've only had to wind it once. I feel as though the negative reviews for the performance might be due to people not knowing what a mechanical watch is. There's no battery so you do have to wind it otherwise it won't work. As far as looks go it's stunning. It is on the larger side but that's what I was looking for. Sits higher on the wrist because of the thickness but it goes well with how the watch looks. Perfect steampunk wrist watch for an alternative look.

Great Everyday Watch
I like mechanical watches, and this is a great everyday watch. It was running when I took it out of the box and has continued (with occasional stem winding ever since). I like the style and the smooth movement of the second hand and open view of the workings. It appears to be a 2-jewel movement, the escapement being the only jeweled part. It gained about 2 minutes a day, but the back is easily removed (only 6 small screws - no special jeweler's tool needed) and I was able to adjust the escapement tension so now it only gains about 30 seconds a day. That's pretty good for an inexpensive mechanical watch.

NOT SELF-WINDING, but still cool…
Complete false advertising. Yes. It is mechanical. But it’s not self winding. No rotor present. It’s not a bad watch. It’s still cool. Just bummed when it’s states “❤️Self Winding” when it’s not. Had it been self winding, I would have given 5. The band is nice. Comfortable. Start the watch with about 15 winds. Until it feels tight. Holds decent time. I lose about 6 minutes per day if I don’t wind it while wearing. But it’s perfect for fidgety people. If you keep it wound it keeps great time. Looks like it’s built well. Very cool design.

Attractive Skeleton Watch At A Bargain Price - NOTE - Not Self-Winding
This is a great watch and exactly what I was looking for. Skeleton back, attractive look and dial. That being said, I want to point out that this is NOT a self-winding watch. The page implies that after you wind it, the watch keeps time on its own because its self-winding. Well yes it keeps time BECAUSE YOU WOUND IT. Self-winding watches DO NOT require winding. So for people who think they are getting a self-winding watch that runs off the movement of your body for $25, think again.

Looks- 3, Function-0.1
Looks nice, but stops working w/in 3 wks. I was hoping to get a good self-winding/mechanic watch like I had when I was a kid; no more batteries to change or dump. The price was slight higher than most of the other value battery watches, so I thought it would be OK. First watch came in. It looked good, was working OK. The self-winding function didn't seem to be working well, but I didn't mind hand winding it. After @ 3 wks, the gears jammed. I could not wind it up & it stopped running even when I can see that the spring was wound up ( this was a "skeleton" watch- so one can see the spring). It was w/in the return period, so I gave Amazon another shot. Replacement watch came in w/in a week. It also looked good. It, again worked OK, but self-winding function was not optimal. I went to Disneyland & DCA & even without submerging it, moisture somehow got under the crystal while riding Grizzly's River Run. it's suppose to be at least water resistant. Since then, the watch stops running here and there without warning; even when the spring is wound up. I'm not going to try for another exchange. I'll consider it lesson learned.

Dude, get this watch if you're interested in automatics
Well? What else is there to say? Get this watch if you're interested in automatics. The movement is so satisfying to watch, though there is a decorative plate on top that covers some of the movement, kinda disappointing. I love looking at everything moving and can't see everything with this watch. That's okay though. I was interested in automatic watches but put off by the prices of so many, for example a seiko 5 is like $80, and I don't usually have $80 to spend on a watch. This was a good alternative, at only $20 and with an automatic movement! It does seem to lose time throughout the day, about 1 or 2 minutes, and overnight it stops. Just be prepared to wind this and reset the time every morning. Some people may find this annoying, but personally I just added it to part of my morning ritual, like making coffee. Wake up, make coffee, take a shower, wind watch. Not that big of a deal takes like 20 seconds to reset the time. I don't know how long this is going to last, the band seems to be ripping a little bit, but fortunately, it has a replaceable band with spring bars so you can get a NATO band or anything else you like. Before this past week I had no interest in mechanical, automatic, analog watches. I didn't even wear one. But for whatever reason they peaked my interest and this was a great entry into the world of watches at a reasonable price. And if you want a watch to take apart and see how it works, this is only $20 so you don't have to worry about ruining a high value watch. Great value for money, I'm overall very impressed, and definitely satisfied with my purchase :D

Great for the price
I've had it for two months now. It works well still and keeps time as long as it is running. The only potential problem is that it really wont hold a charge overnight... but I don't really care it takes 5 seconds to re-set it. It looks pretty cool but is probably too big for a womans wrist. The biggest downside is that I will have to replace the band in a few months. It isn't wearing down too fast, but its pretty clear that the band is going to start cracking.
