Beautiful and sentimental design--I buy this every time I found out a friend is expecting.
I now make this a tradition to purchase this book for friends when I find out that they're expecting. This book is truly beautiful (the art style is so previous) and so sentimental, including options to write in many details to fully encompass the first year of baby's life.

Sweet baby journal to be an heirloom
I was looking for a baby book for journaling and capturing important info about the pregnancy, birth, first months, etc. that didn't have tons of spaces for photos. I like to use Shutterfly to make photo albums, and pretty much never print individual pictures anymore. So this book allows a few spaces to put small prints in if you'd like to, but you don't have to. The journal prompts are really sweet and clever and I enjoy so much filling out each page for my daughter to read some day. Some prompts included are:- Story of how mom and dad met- How we found out we were pregnant- Cost of milk, movie, gas, etc. the year you were born- Family tree- Hopes and dreams for baby- Baby firsts, etc.

Perfect Baby Book!
This book is just perfect for our newborn baby! It's not a huge book, but really covers everything you might want to include. It has great prompts for you to write to and divides into sections with beautiful opening spreads, transparency pages, a couple envelope pages throughout and debossed bunny graphic on the cover. I have high standards when it comes to graphics and I was really impressed with the style of this book. Well done and a great deal! The blue or pink band do not mention boy or girl on them and are easily removed.

Perfect baby book - if blue is cheaper, get it instead since the contents are identical
Sweet baby book. I love the organic feel and all the various things to keep track of. I purchase thin post-it flags and marked the pages that are relevant for the hospital (first hand and foot prints) so I don't miss out. Love the bunny and the grey cover. Great for a boy or a girl. Also, for the version with the blue on the cover, the inside of the book is identical to the pink. And the pink and blue portions are designed to be removed. So I wish I had purchased the blue since it was a little less money. Oh well. Perfect baby book none-the-less.

Modern and simple, but thoughtful and well made
LOVE LOVE LOVE this book! Not too cheesy, and not over the top cutsey. I looked long an hard for a baby book that would capture things that I cared about, the important and thoughtful memories of baby's first year, and this is it. The style is modern and simple. Easy to read and not overwhelming to fill out. I also feel like this is something that our baby will appreciate reading as she grows up. The questions are very thoughtful. Great buy!

Very unique and unusual baby book.
I bought this book for my daughter's baby shower. I am using it as a guestbook for the guests to sign the baby shower page. This is an adorable book with wonderful quality paper, design and thoughtful page layout. It's not a traditional large baby book, but I didn't want that - I wanted something unique and unusual. I am very happy with this book. A lot of the pages allow for paragraph writing by the new Mom and Dad, which will suit my daughter well.

Adorable little baby book!
Was gifted this book with my first child, and loved it so much that I bought another for my second child, and now buy it as gifts for friends. Has places for handprint, footprint, birth story, letter from Mom and Dad, monthly updates, showers, etc. It's a really really nice book and very good quality. And the illustrations are really cute and have modern colors (which I prefer over the pastel cutesy animal look).

EGADS. Get a Life.
Certainly very modern and clean graphic design. The blue is gender neutral. Mine arrived in good shape. But, man oh man, is it super cheesy! Not for Mature Adults. The quotes are sentimental and lovely, but all aimed at a first child with an over emphasis on how much that child has fulfilled every hope and dream as if a person never had a life prior (I thought this helicopter parent trend had gone by the wayside). E.g. Half a page dedicated to writing about "how we knew you were on the way"? Did someone forget to teach Princess Mommy about the birds and the bees and the digital at-home preg test? The whole book is like that. It's just too much! Another e.g. "Your first shower" followed by PAGES of who attended and what they gave. Lovely for those who want to commemorate the consumer lifestyle this book embraces, not so great for when you have a second kid and people simply ask: need anything?Another reviewer complained of no room for photos, and I think that's how I might solve both issues: layer photos across some of these sentimental inquisitions. Maybe it'll stop my husband's eyes from rolling into the back of his head (the book requires both parents to divulge their deepest hormonal reactions to the very thought of offspring). It gets less touchy-feelie and more practical as it goes on. But, your older children will need therapy later in life that you didn't share as much about them in their books.
