Books for humanity.
I am a huge fan of Elie Wiesel so was very happy with this book, since I read "Night" and saw his interview with Oprah Winfrey, I was hooked. The writing is graceful and strong and poignant. Elie Wiesel came out of a hellish place and was restored, enlightened, changed, and forgiving. His writing is soft and passionate and easy to read. The price was reasonable and the book was delivered very quickly. I am currently reading 'Dawn' and 'Day' by the same author.

when madness is reality how can faith exist
One of those books that reveals the human psyche within the reality of history, in particular the Holocaust. It poses the question of how an individual can retain their faith, how faith at all can exist or survive in that environment. Yet how would or could that be taken away when that is all that these individuals had in a world degenerated.

Twilight cannot escape a comparison with Night : although undoubtedly a great work, showing displacement and horrors inflicted on Polish Jews, it would rank lower than Night. The sensitivity, the realism which is horrifying at times, is as authentic as a first hand account. It has a sadness, like Night, which refuses to go away.
