I love these
These are great for checking pool chemicals using Baquacil products. Simple and easy to use. Much easier than collecting water and adding drops to know the status of a pool or spa's sanitation.

Different test strips
The strips I received do not match the product and pictures shown above. There are four tests shown on the strip but, instead of 1) Sanitizer, 2) Hardness, 3) Total Alkalinity and 4) ph, the new strips show 1) Oxidizer, 2) Sanitizer and Algistat, 3) ph an 4) Total Alkalinity. I haven't used the new strips yet, as I still have a few of the old ones. Is "Hardness" no longer considered significant? Also, the new strips have a different "Item Number" than what is indicated above. Perhaps none of this is important; I'm just noting that the product being delivered is not identical to what is advertised.

Best product available - help keep spa water clean!
Our spa is tested and treated weekly, and because of these clear, easy to use test strips, our water stays clean and clear much longer than other products we used years ago. Been using Baqua for nearly 20 years! Would NEVER go back to using any other product.

Great until the strips expire, then useless
Twice now, I've had to replace test strips that are less than a year old (one bought 2/15/18) and were stored in a cool, dry place with the cap firmly sealed. Why? The test pad for the BaquaSpa Sanitizer no longer works, which is almost the entire reason you buy the strips. Testing for other components (pH, alkalinity, hardness) is readily available elsewhere and for less money. So.... yes the product works but be prepared to order new strips every hot tub season (I only run mine in the cold months). BTW in the photo I dipped the strip directly into the sanitizer. The light blue you see on the left end should have been dark green and off the chart. It didn't budge. The company I bought them from (Number 1 in Service) earlier this year did offer a refund... 10%, totaling a whopping buck fifty. Ok, I realize 15 bucks a year isn't a lot of money. But this product shouldn't expire so quickly. One last gripe. The strips I bought on 2/15/18 have a lot # (7215) and presumably a sell by date: 2019/6. If correct I should have received a replacement, not a refund.
