Zoo Tycoon: Ultimate Animal Collection - PC

I have been a Zoo Tycoon since the originals (yes I am older than dirt). I always had a lot of fun building my zoos. When I saw they had a newer version I had to give it a try. The graphics are amazing & the ability to interact more in the game and with the animals is far better than the earlier versions. It's also nice that you don't have to keep sticking trees & bushes in the exhibit to increase the animals' happiness like in the older version. The animals don't spit out babies like they did in the earlier versions either...it's a lot more challenging to get animals to breed. It only took me about 10 minutes to install it & you do have to create an account which is something I really didn't want to do. The only downsize is the amount of time it takes for it to load.....it can take anywhere from 10 - 20 minutes. If you loved the earlier versions, you'll love the newer version with better graphics & interactions you are able to do. It doesn't come with a instruction booklet but the tutorials will teach you how to do everything you need to know. I love it!

I can’t even get the program to run. You need steam to download, however steam has come up with unexplainable reason as to why it can’t download. First it kept saying it wasn’t connected to the internet, but it was. Then it said it had we saved under an empty file but it won’t let me change files. I tried finding some support to have someone talk me through it and couldn’t find anyone to talk to. What a joke!

This game is great. My daughter loves it and plays it continuously!

I loved playing the ZOO TYCOON 2 for PC, and I thought this would be similar, but it is nothing like it!! Don't waste your money if you enjoy the Zoo Tycoon PC games.

Not sure why this isn't part of the description, but here's a pic of the system requirements on the back of the package. Bought it for a Christmas present, haven't opened or played yet. Just wanted to get this info out there for anybody thinking about it.

I do not like this game. The controls are choppy, and almost impossible to use. I would not buy it. This is nothing against Amazon. I got the game when promised and it was in excellent condition. I just do not care for the game itself.

Kids love these games!

I purchased this disk so I would have access to the game on my computer. When I finally managed to install the disk, I learned there is an additional charge of $7.99 to play the game.
