Great cat treat
Something are older cat loved and our new cat seems to like it as well. I am glad to see it back on the market and available.

24 pouches of delectable graviness
Our cats really like the Gravy Sensations line by Friskies because ... they REALLY like gravy! One leaves the solid bits, the other eats it all. We mix this with solid food to slow down their eating (less vomiting!) and to stretch out the gravy sensation.Unlike other reviewers, every time we've ordered we've received one box containing two 12 packs, so we get 24 pouches. That makes this a good price, especially since it's something the cats will actually eat.

Great for Cats with Dental Problems
My cat had problems with her teeth and this was the only thing I could get her to eat before and after her surgery. She actually would take me to her bowl to feed her.

My cat loves it!
My cat is not only a very picky eater, she also has a very sensitive digestive system - she'll vomit most brands of cat meat after only a few days of eating them. I mostly feed her dry cat food, but sometimes she'll want something a bit "meatier" and will refuse the dry stuff and demand meat instead. But trying to find suitable brand that my cat likes, and doesn't make her vomit, has been difficult.Since I started feeding my cat the Friskies seafood variety in pouches, my cat has become more and more insistent about wanting to be fed them! She goes crazy when she seems me getting her Friskies pouches out of the cupboard, and shoves her head into her food bowl before I can even finish emptying the packet!I've been feeding these pouches to my cat for about a month now, and they have not upset her sensitive digestion. She loves them, and I am happy to be able to feed her something she enjoys so much. I like that this particular product has a selection of flavors to choose from-all of which my cat seems to love equally-which prevents my cat from getting bored of the same old thing day after day.Since I feed her dry food as well, I only offer one pouch of Friskies food a day. Therefore, I think the costs of feeding my cat this product are very reasonable. My only complaint about the product is that pouches are not the most convenient when it comes to feeding. I like that there's enough for one meal for my cat inside each pouch (so there's no leftovers) but I have found that care is needed when opening the pouches - only this morning I tore open the pack and had gravy juice spill out onto my hand. A little yucky, but not a major deal.Another problem I found with the pouches is that it's difficult to get every last chunk of meat out of them. The meaty chunks do stick to the side and bottom of the pack, so either you throw away some or have to scrape it out with a fork. The pouches aren't very easy for me to scrape out with a fork and doing so tends to cause a bit of a mess. My cat gets so impatient with me whilst I am trying to empty the entire packet into her food bowl--she makes it really difficult by pushing her head in the way and meowing loudly. All in all though, my cat loves these and I love that my cat is so happy to eat them.

how to please a cat
my cat is a bit picky. she would eat one kind of food for a while, then turn up her nose (if that is possible in a cat).i was constantly looking for the next big thing. and she was training me to hunt for a better grade of food.then i found this stuff. she always plunges right in, and when she sees me pulling out the pouch she starts for the plate and pushes at me while i pour it out. what joy. and the hunting is easy; i get it thru amazon's subscription plan, and have gone from 6 months replenishment to two orders a month. (a cat eats 2 to 3 pouches a day according to the box. i limit my smallish cat to 2).it's been a couple of months now, and i have not had to go hunting again, except a couple of clicks of the mouse. what a relief.wonder how long it will last before she decides there might be something better out there if i would only just look.bruce

My Cats LOVE These "Gravy Sensations" --!!
OK - I have five (5) cats and each have their own special preferences, which used to make "cat breakfast" a challenge. But fortunately for me, I now have an easier time of it -- three (THREE!) of my cats LOVE these Gravy Sensations. OK, the youngest one cheats and, for the most part, licks the gravy dry and nibbles a bit on the rest of it. Still, I am delighted with this cat food! I have no problem with the pouch. I can pull it open, but mostly, I snip across with scissors, and pour, and at the end, give the bag a squeeze (to get each drop of the wonderful gravy). I think opening the pouch is lots easier than a can. This is the one cat food I stock-up on, because I often don't see it in stores.

A really nice product, easy to serve, just the right amount serving for your cat.
This is an easy to serve product if you have a way to cut open the foil bag. The serving size is perfect for one cat, breakfast or dinner. My cat thinks this product is a real treat.

Pouches Poorly Designed
AVOID!!! Awful packaging. These are indeed gravy rich, but the slimy smelly juice all cat lovers tolerate oozes out of these when you open them. Super messy! It took me a week of careful experimentation with pulling the tab to avoid consistent face splattering. No matter your silky technique the juice runs over your hand and runs down the side. Chunks are left high and dry at the bottom and squeezing them out can be problematic. The mess of these not only totally grosses me out, but adds 5min to my morning routine - cat juice requires some serious hand washing (or a face washing and reapplication of lotion). 5 min might not sound like much, but some of you will feel me on the morning struggle. I LIKE the idea of pounches - just do a bit of redesign.
