22lr Steel Targets 6" X 3/16"

This 6" target is just the right size for shooting with a .22 lr pistol or rifle. The 6" diameter is big enough to hit, but challenging enough to miss. The 3/16" thickness is light enough to make a nice ping when struck by the bullets. I have several steel targets, AR500, 3/8 and 1/2" thick, most of which I do not hear after being hit by a 22 cal round, especially with hearing protection on. I specifically bought this thinner steel plate for my daughter so she would get the instant gratification of hitting her target. She can shoot paper bullseyes when the time comes, for now I just want to get her excited to shoot. And honestly that goes for the rest of my family as well. Love this target. Obviously we added our own custom paint job, how boring is plain steel, plus I can identify which plates not to shoot with my higher caliber rounds.My only request is for the manufacturer to make some other designs, like a woodchuck or a bear or a scorpion or the hulk, whatever. And keep the price point at $15. Do not make them small like that stupid champion popup dinosaur target. Not only is it too small, it bends after being hit by .22 rounds, check the pics on my review.

I hung this on chains on my target frame and plinked it with my .22. It makes a great PING when hit! I paint it after each range day so when I shoot it, I can see where my rounds are striking. Very durable. Good value for the money.

These plates are awesome for the price. I have been plinking them with 22lr and no scratches or dents. I paint them with cheap spray paint, so I can see where I shot it.Update.... I shot it with a .223 from a distance....DO NOT do that... It blew a nice clean hole through it. Stick to the .22lr, I have not shot it with anything else.

I found these to be much cheaper and well made than some other similar products. I have not taken them to the ranch yet but they feel really good and solid. I have no doubt they will perform admirably. I will post an update once it has been thouroughly tested.

These are high quality targets, made from thick steel. I don't think I will ever have to replace them. This is much better than setting up a paper target or some cans every time you shoot. Plus, you don't have to keep stopping to walk to the targets to see if you hit them.

Awesome target. Works just as advertised. Shot it over 200 times so far with .22LR and 9mm ammo and no pitting or any damage. So much more fun than paper targets. Instant feedback and works great with groups because of that.

Got a few of these last week and had an incredible weekend shooting them on my backyard range. Spray painted them - which they recommend - you can see every bullet hit. Best of all you can see and hear them hit.

I got one in 8" and boy they work awesome. Hundreds of 22lr and 9mm at both targets. Still in perfect condition.
