Red Vines Original Red Licorice Twists 1.58 kg

First of all the tub itself is amazing plastic yes but it’s hard plastic. Iv already got ideas for the tub for when the vines are Finnished. (Bit of spray paint and you have a very beautiful decorative storage tub!) that’s for y’all diy fans out there. Second the vines them selfs are grate the flavour yes is quirky but after you get over that quickly you'll find yourself craving more and before you know it the whole tub will be gone and you may or may not have put on a few pounds… but who gives a flying starfish? And if your a movie buff then these guys are for you. If your like me someone not from the states but seen these in every single movie or tv show (Big Bang theory was it I decided to buy!) then buy them don’t haft to eat them cover them all in resin and Big Bang bosh! Put them with your vast collection.

Arrived 4th Jan 2024, best before date 22 August 2024. No problems there, though I expect they would be fine for many months after the bbf date. They look like they would taste like our regular red licorice, the stuff used in strawberry laces. But the screen time they get made me think they must be more than strawberry laces. Sadly, I am the victim of years of product placement, they are nothing special, same as what you would get in a picknmix (if you can find one of those anymore). A soft chew with a mild flavour, they are very nice, but then a packet of any gummy sugary flavoured type sweet is also very nice. Glad I tried them, I will have to try twizzlers next, but I suspect they will be a similar anti climax :)

They came on time well wrapped up and they are really good to eat

Hi first time i got them they were great, very tasty, just got my 2nd order, taste stale and dry, love red vines, but these not good at all, well in date, seal not broken, bad batch i guess..

Love these, so glad you can buy them in such a large tub.

Sadly these the item I received does not taste of red licorice, it has quite a perfume smell and taste which is rather unpleasant. Turned into a rather pricey storage tub as the licorice is not edible. Given the reviews it appears the product has fluctuating quality and I was unfortunate to receive a poor product on this occasion, I would be hesitant to purchase in the future.

Bought these for my wife! Will be buying another one as these didn’t last long. She said they tasted just like the ones in the USA

As an American living in England, there are some things I miss. I can find black licorice everywhere, but I can't find red licorice practically anywhere. This is a huge package which will last me a long time, and the packaging keeps them soft and fresh. What's great is after they are gone, the packaging can easily be reused for other storage. The taste brings me back to home and I love it.

Love them but won’t splurge again - way too much money

I confess I've never understood the appeal of this product, which suggests nothing to me that's associated with the candy "licorice" or the flavor "strawberry." But I was attracted by the carousel container and the undeniable value of this much "time-Killing" candy. It arrived the day after my order in a package secure enough to hold a small computer or a mirror (so often Amazon packages are torn, bent, partially crushed. The Red Vines people obviously treated their product with care and respect. Moreover, the fetching fragrance hit me even before I'd removed the shiny blue cover. Getting to the heart of the matter, I've never tasted Red Vines as fresh and satisfying as this batch, which must have come from the candy vats minutes after my order. The texture is soft and palate-pleasing, not a hard and tough, dried-out section in the entire batch. So what does it taste like? The flavor is red--take it from there. I guess it has a somewhat artificial flavor, like red Kool-aid, or the flavors used to disguise medicinal liquids. If so, the flavors have never performed as enticingly as these seductive sticks. I'll remain a fan of Twizzler's Peel-n-Pull Cherry Candy, but for a lighter and less-addictive treat, Red Vines have never made a stronger case. And this value price makes it all the easier to succumb to their mysterious allure.
