Although I have other silk scrunchies, you can definitely feel the difference with the Lilysilk. The silk is thicker and better quality and the elastic band is better (thicker and stronger but gentle in your hair). I have fine hair but moderate density and this works well. I have purchased 2 more plus one as a gift.

My first time using a scrunchie and I'm forever sold! This scrunchie is made of good quality. I love the texture. Whenever I take it off, it doesn't break or pull my hair like regular ties do. I was experiencing a lot of hair breakage. I follow a hairstylist from Colombia on Instagram and she recommends using hair scrunchies to our daily use to avoid and prevent hair breakage. I was skeptical about this but decided to give it a try. Well, it really works! I got my order on March 13th, and since then, I haven't experienced any breakage like I used to; any breakage at all! It's truly impressive. No more hair ties for me! I'm glad I found something that protects my hair, especially during the night. I literally wear it 24/7 because I don't want to risk my hair breaking again. This is a total must have for me! I recommend it 100%.

Out of all of the scrunchies I've tried, these are my favorite. I have waist length 2b-3a hair. Taking care of my hair and making sure I do the least amount of damage to it as possible is really important to me. These are perfect for both styling and sleep. I believe these are made of real silk, unlike some other scrunchies I have bought on Amazon. The "silk" scrunchies I've used in the past would get caught and snag my hair. These, however, don't get caught in my hair or snag at all and are so soft. These are secure and stay in your hair really well. I tend to move around a lot when I sleep and my hair doesn't come loose with these, which really helps my maintain my curls. These seem durable. I've had scrunchies in the past that have started tearing at the seams shortly after buying them. These have held up very well so far, even after washing. If the durability of these changes, I'll update my review. Lastly, these are some of the most affordable silk scrunchies I've found. The five pack ends up being $6 per scrunchie, which I think is a great deal. I don't really care about about matching scrunchies to my outfit, but the colors I received are pretty neutral and go with everything. I think the versatility adds to the savings value.

Quality is excellent. I do wish it was slightly larger, but it still does a good job holding my long, thick hair.

I really like the material and color of this scrunchie — it feels so nice and looks beautiful. The quality is also impressive. It’s a great hair accessory, especially since plastic hair ties can damage your hair over time. I wear this one every day, and it’s been so much gentler on my hair. Love it!

Super real silk ! nice big size !))

I am really sad to write a negative review for this scrunchie coz I really liked the material. It is as advertised that it is so smooth on your hair avoiding the pulls and hairs coming out while removing it. First of all I ordered the same item a year back and I got a different one without the small brand tag on and the material was not good too. But this time I can feel it was real silk, unfortunately it loosens so quick. The inner elastic in the scrunchie is of very very low quality that it loses its elasticity with 2 months. For the price for one scrunchie at least they should do justice to that silk material. Within two months mine become loose. Even the cheaper ones from drug store lasted for years. And there is no point in adding that little brand tag, it’s actually annoying. For this price I need it to last for more than two months. And people who can make scrunchies out of silk must put some effort in getting a good quality elastic so that it can lasts. This three stars is actually for the silk material other wise none. The size of the scrunchie was perfect for my long hair. I would say it’s not worth for the money.

I bought the 15 pack and had some suspicions when I first felt some of them. Like some of the other reviews mentioned, some of the scrunchies had different textures, some were smoother than others. I then went down the rabbit hole of comparing silk vs polyester fabrics. Some sources suggested feeling the fabrics (silk obviously smoother than polyester/viscose), comparing the lusters, listening for the crunching sounds etc. I did all of that but still wasn’t super confident. I really wanted to avoid the burn test, but decided to just move forward with it. I snipped some fabric from a lily silk scrunchie I was suspicious of and some from a polyester scrunchie I had lying around. I burned the two fabrics for comparison and this is what I found. Polyester when burnt, melts. Looks kinda gooey then hardens like plastic. Silk when burnt, turns ashy when you push on the burnt fabric. See the pictures for comparison. Overall, I’m happy that the lilysilk scrunchies are real silk and some are very beautiful. I’m a little disappointed by the color selection I received and the consistency. One of the 15 scrunchies, I received was really beautifully made and sooo silky smooth. The other 14, although really lustrous and gorgeous, did not have the same texture as that one scrunchie. With all that said, I’d still give this product 5 stars because the 15 pack value is awesome (~$3/real silk scrunchie) is hard to beat.
