Best for retrofit where the current original shower head is low.
While I just recently purchased and installed this week I must say for our application where the house was built in 1968 and the shower head plumbed in the ceramic wall is low for many adults. This unit raised the shower head about 9” making it very comfortable for an adult 6’ 2” to shower. I really liked the way the brass threaded extension that goes in the wall has a built in Allen wrench end and the tool provided to tighten into the wall, just be sure to use good Teflon Tape and pipe joint compound on the threads because you cannot see in the wall to verify no leaks. Note: shower arms in general are very tough to verify no leaks but this install set up it’s impossible to see. Time will tell overall quality but right now the system install went well, looks great.

Well machined. Good Customer Service
With one exception (see below), product is very high quality. If you like well engineered, precisely machined products, this is for you. Looking at the packaging and all the included parts, this is clearly a premium product. The two integrated valves (one on the shower body and one on the wand) smoothly operate with no leakage. The magnetic wand holder is slick. Importantly, my wife thinks the unit looks great and likes how it operates.I dinged a star becuase the unit I received had a defect in it that caused the shower arm to come out of the shower body at an angle (see picture). I contacted support which said this is a known issue and I must have been shipped an old version. They are express shipping out a new body. Luckily, replacing the shower body is simple and does not involve opening up the shower wall.Assuming that the new shower body fixes the problem I'd recommend this product and company based on my interactions with their support team.Follow up: The new shower body had the same problem. So, the support folks spoke with the factory and they were able to figure out a simple fix I could do from home. It was essentially an improper assembly issue at the factory which they are addressing. Now I have two fixed shower heads that look great.

Amazing system
Absolutely love the system. Installed this for a client, who is also very impressed. The only reason for not having 5 stars, is that the instructions, specifically the ipb & directions of the water connection system is extremely vague. You will have to use your best professional judgement. Word of advice, try to leave the access panel area open (up top at the shower spout dog ear mount), and allow yourself the ability to move the spout forward or backward until you screw in the supplied threaded brass spout adapter - then fix the dog ear support bar in the parfect place that will allow the spout ring to sit flush against your finished tiles. Reason being, you'll get the flush mount on the tile, as well as be able to check that there are no leaks in the dog ear behind the wall.

Easy retrofit, Luxurious shower
Wanted an easy upgrade of existing wall-mounted shower head that was too low, to an overhead rain showerhead, without modifying any plumbing or causing interference with the existing faucet mounted below. Also wanted a handheld spray wand. Selected this item after 2 days of searching the internet. It is exactly what I hoped for and, after two months of use, continue to be very pleased. Old showerhead and the angled pipe that connects to it were simply screwed out of the wall, and this screws into the same place. Handheld wand has its own twist off function that I normally leave turned off. But there is also another twist knob on the main housing that balances flow between the wand and the showerhead, and it can fully cut off the showerhead at one extrem or fully cut off the wand at the other. When the wand is fully off, but the shower faucet is on, the wand still "leaks" a little stream of water by design to keep the parts from mineralizing and locking up. The brushed nickel appearance is very appealing and has a good finish, even though some parts are plastic. Now enjoy my home shower more than those in the fancier hotels. Well worth the money.

Lovely but with some faults
The media could not be loaded. I love the look of the showerhead however, for reasons unknown to me I find myself having to twist it into proper position daily. It's as if the base rotates to the left after every use. I am not sure if perhaps using some loctite on the pipe before screwing it on would help hold it in place. This worries me because I wonder if the pipe is coming loose or if the weight of the showerhead is too much for the base to handle. I think it perhaps needs a better lock system or maybe additional screws to help it stay in place. The current model only has ONE very tiny screw that holds it in place. Additionally, I have screwed down the brass plate to the wall but that doesn't help. Not sure what is going on here.

Beautiful shower
I love this showerhead. My husband had to buy an extra part to install it but that's because we have an older home. He says it was easy to install. I love the design. My shower plumbing is low so the extended height is perfect. The handheld wand is nice and sleek. I've had it installed for a month or two and at this time I would 100% recommend!

DISAPPOINTING
So bummed. I contacted manufacturer prior to purchasing, and was assured the shower head tilts toward you (not just left/right). However, water just FALLS and doesn’t shoot out (no pressure) so when you tilt the shower head you still have to stand directly underneath it except that now you have water falling at 8 x ~4 inches width instead of 8 inches circumference — in other words, useless. Unfortunately, we had this professionally installed so we’ve already invested a lot and I don’t think I’ll be returning it although I’d like to. Way too expensive for such poor performance. Wish the manufacturer had dealt with this better, I expect better at this price range.
