The Exotic Teapot - Turmeric Spice Chai Tea, 200g Tin, Loose Leaf Black Tea

It's very nice chai, but be wary of the chile's in the mix, especially if you make your chai strong by adding the tea to a boiling water/milk mix and simmering. The chile can overpower the tea and make it uncomfortably spicy & hot.(If made this way, I pick out the chile's).I find just steeping a spoonful in 90 deg C water for 2-3 minutes and then straining, produces a much more palatable and tasty, spicy brew.Can't fault this for value though, theres plenty in there and its good quantity and quality for a reasonable price.

I've been searching for a good spicy tea for ages and have tried dozens, i was getting a bit fed-up with paying for supposedly quality flavoured tea which dissapointed me in both flavour and quality. This tea has rekindled my passion, it is spicy ginger, chilli and turmeric and tastes fabulous. A great quality tea (I wanted to put this on subscription but it isn't offered on this product which is disappointing) It might seem pricey at just under £10 for 200g but I've been paying that much for 100g of so called quality spicy teas and been really dissapointed but with this product I have found a good quality spicy tea and I'm very pleased with it. A bug that i have found is that it isn't available on subscribe and save for some reason, so i have to reorder manually when i want more (which is often). I love it.

This tea arrived so quickly, only ordered yesterday with standard delivery! Opened the tin and smelt the loose leaves and they smell gorgeous couldnt wait to try so made a brew straight away. It is a lovely balanced tea and so tasty I have just had to make another pot! Will most definitely buy again.

First cup of tea for the day needs a kick and this provides it. A bit expensive but really good chai.

Didn’t like the whole dried chillies. Had to pick them out as they made the tea undrinkable. Far too spicy, it masked all of the other flavours. The tea was good after taking the chillies out.

Really delicious, brews well and is a nice satisfying cuppa. Its good with or without milk and very nice boiled in milk as a latte

Very pleasantly surprised not having tried this tea before. Recommend

It looks great. At some point I will open it and try it.
