Q: i have one of this in my system but the wide and sweep dosnt seem to do anything anyone know why?

You need to make sure sure your headunit is sending ALL signal pass through on your subout. Second, make sure your main amp is not cutting out the frequency (lpf) that you are trying to enhance on your epicenter. Normally these units are used for older music that need bass enhancing. last but not least, make sure to increase the remote to high so you can fully increase that signal. ( keep in mind sweep is your focused hz and wide is expanding that hz. ) mine works really good and i am very satisfied with it. Highly recommended!

Q: Does ot go before or after the EQ and the crossover or the reverse of what i just asked?

When I hook up crossover an EQ then I use my audiopipe sub Bass Processor to the Amplifier
