Works well. You need to put the lid with the straw attached on at the same time. If you put in the lid and then add the straw, liquid will come up through the straw. It’s not a flaw, just physics. As long as you aren’t tossing it around, I find it to be pretty leak proof. And the soft bit at the end of the straw is a nice touch, yep you aren’t biting on metal.

I have been wanting a lid for my Yeti that would allow me to use it without worrying about spilling the liquid out of the lid. This product is perfect for that purpose. It is affordable and fits the bill perfectly. Arrived quickly. The straw is also great. Unlike the metal straws I ordered elsewhere, this straw has a rubber tip which keeps the mouth portion from getting too cold. I like that feature. I would highly recommend the product and the vendor.

I love that this straw lid fits on the tervis 20 oz tumbler!My dentist recommended that I drink coffee through a straw to prevent stain on my teeth. This lid is spill proof when closed (without straw inserted).

This lid fits perfect and is well made creating a perfect vacuum seal. If tipped over, It will leak some thru the straw, but that's to be expected and the lid stays put. The vacuum has created a backflow situation though. After sipping and setting the drink down, liquid started squirting out like a fountain, like when you siphon gas, and once it starts it can drain the cup unless stopped. Both times happened while driving which could be dangerous. I had to shut the flow off by putting my mouth over the straw and lift the straw out of the liquid to get it to stop. Both times I had reached high elevation in the mountains; high enough to make your ears pop; so this is most likely the cause. I also learned you must put the lid on first, then insert the straw. The vacuum seal is so strong liquid will squirt out when you press the lid down if you keep the straw in. Otherwise this is a great product, especially for the price. The straw is stainless steel with a rubber coating so it doesn't hurt your teeth. It is very easy to clean.

The lid fits the Yeti Rambler 30oz great! I like the ability to close the straw opening, if preferred. The sipping cover is great for lifting when putting the lid on, for no spills. I also liked the silicone tipped straw.

My sister made a beautiful tumbler for me for Christmas, personalized with a pic of my girls, but I didn't find myself using it because I hate the standard lids they come with. I find they are hard to drink out of. So I did a search for something like this and was excited to try it. It is perfect!! The fit is great. Tight and leak proof. I still get my insulated personalized cup, but now can drink easily with the straw in this lid. I drink more water now that I'm using this lid.

It fits my 30oz yeti perfectly. The seal is tight and the straw fits the hole so snug that it does not spill out at all when tipped over. Because the seal is so snug you have to either not put the straw in until the lid is in place, or leave the other pour out closure open otherwise the liquid will shoot out the straw from the pressure of closing the lid. I love the sheath on the end of the straw too. I've used the stainless steal straws before and had to create my own sheath from another plastic straw as the steel is cold on your lips with an iced beverage. Highly recommend.
