iFixit Mako Driver Kit - 64 Precision Bit Set for Electronics Repair

Holy Hell. I am incredibly impressed with this screwdriver. I never write a review, in fact this is the very first one i have ever spent the time to write, but just open opening the driver its quality and attention to detail can be seen. I have a knack for small details, and everything little detail. Details are what sperate high quality products form the lower quality ones, and dammit, this lil screwdriver has a great amount of them. there are tiny magnets that hold the lid on by are strong enough for you to still hold it by the lid. the foam everything is in is very firm and secures the bits and the driver very well. the selection of bits in it are amazing. The flexible driver too works amazing and in building an absolute unit of a computer for my new office, i was able to get into the little crevices my massive bear hands wouldn't have been able to get to. Overall, this thing is amazing, and beat expectations by a long shot. I would compare it to my Gensis in terms of quality and detail. Do with that what you will.

This is literally my favorite precision screwdriver set. Quality is high. I am a technician so I've had sets from all the big comapines snapon, matco, mac, some sets off amazon. Ifixit has really stepped their game up and quality is higher than any other company in my opinion. Definetly want that aluminum driver, its as smooth as silk with the bearing on the end. I recommend this kist over every other kit there is. I have the smaller ifix it kit as well. My only thing I would add to this set is a ph2 and ph3 bit. The magnetic top case that acts as a screwholder/divider is pretty genius.

I haven't used this tool kit yet but they seem to be well made. I should've purchased the IFIXIT tool kit long ago instead of waiting. They are a little on the expensive side for small tools but if they are as good as advertised, then so be it. Good tools are better to have than low quality tools.

This is the perfect toolset if you are looking for some high quality precision tools. This isn't your cheap Harbor Freight or random hobby shop toolset, this is the proven good stuff. Great price too!

Solid construction and ease of use for the driver and bits. Magnetic tips allow for ease of screw retention and definitely reduces the headache of losing small parts.Case is magnetically sealed and seems to hold together well, though I would prefer a latch for some added peace of mind.

If I could give this 10 stars, I would! Set came as described and included the TR25 I needed to fix my vacuum’s cord—and the magnetic base is fantastic for not losing anything in the depths. Have previously used another (identical) set to build a PC. This is the only bit set with the variety of bits to do job, no matter what it is, and get it done well.

I was using this set for taking apart some furniture and reflected on how often I use these tools and how well they work for different projects (electronics, toys, obviously furniture; pretty much any place evil little weirdly-shaped screws exist).And, I also realized it was a product that has lasted over five years. That's a friggin' rarity nowadays. Definitely deserves a good review.
