Impressive germination rates!
Bought this kit to get things started for my garden this year. Loaded up my seed tray with some starter mix, put it on a warming mat with a lid and in a week every seed had germinated. No joke...EVERY seed. Its week two and I've had to go in and pinch out seedlings already. I put down more than I thought i'd need expecting to have some that were duds and now in a few weeks I'm going to have some plants to give away. Great product, great germination rates and I'm curious to see how things grow once I've transplanted them in a few months. Only downside is there aren't growing recommendations on any of the packets for those who might need them. You'd need to take a look at the electronic booklet they send you if you needed guidance on when and how to get things started for each vegetable. That being said the booklet is pretty helpful although you get it via email after your package has arrived.

Well after opening the mylar bag and going through the seeds I came across something all other people that are thinking about purchasing this item. When you get it check the California Wonder pack first. Some of my seeds were already eaten and the two little worms that did it just having a ball picking their next meal.

THESE SEEDS ARE AWESOME! INCREDIBLE VALUE AND VARIETY.
As a longtime gardener and huge fan of organic agriculture and seed sovereignty, I have a serious appreciation for a seed kit like this. Who is it that said "there is freedom in a seed!" ? So true! Well not only is this kit affordable and available with Prime shipping, but the QUALITY of the seeds is extraordinary. I received the package and opened and am now making a planting plan for when to start germinating and if to start indoor or outdoor and when. The variation in size, color and texture is awesome. I may just toss a few varieties I don't yet know into a bed to see what happens. I am used to having to buy whole packets of certain seeds to try out new varieties but this seed kit includes so many. Easy to look up depth and spacing for the different varieties online. Thank you so much for providing this beautiful selection for a very low price! Way cool.

Great value, even for non-preppers!
I'm not a prepper, but I wanted to start a diverse vegetable garden this year, and found this packet to be a very economical way to start things off. I have had much better germination success than expected (seed starter soil, mostly indoors and under lights), with most seed varieties germinating over 75% within the expected time frame. With proper watering and fertilization, the plants are healthy and growing at an appropriate rate. I guess if the food supply does collapse, I'll be in a slightly better spot with these seeds, but this is a good value even if the fan stays clean, so to speak.

Buyer Beware! Fantastic growth! Don't plant too many at once, unless you have the space!
To be completely honest I didn't think that seeds from a seemingly commercialized brand would produce such amazing results. I noticed growth within the first two days and now I have so many plants started I have no idea what I'm going to do with them! At this rate I really can feed my family forever. Definitely worth it. Will be buying from Atomic Bear again!!!

now 4/11 with good growth and didn't even use 1/4th of the seeds
I live in zone 9/10 (Tampa) where we need hearty plants. I bought these plants about three weeks ago and planted them shortly after. Within a few days I already was seeing seeds. They say 80% on seed sprouts however I'd push it up at least a bit more. The only thing I haven't had luck on was the peppers but we all know they are a pain in the butt.Planted on 3/26; sprouts by 4/1; now 4/11 with good growth and didn't even use 1/4th of the seeds. Will buy again.

Dear Rick:The seed were delivered when they were suppose be. The price fit my garden budget. Thanks for all your time and effort in putting this extra large variety pack together. The only flaw I found was the seed amount per packet were not listed any where. Due to this error I didn't know which seedsI needed to purchase or replace.Donna Bauman

Opened, and tested the seeds, using peat pots and heat mats, but the germination was terrible at around 20%
