It tastes great but it's expensive.

This BBQ sauce is delicious. Went through the whole jar of it in about 10 days (with 4 different cooks of chicken on the grill). It can be a bit spicy if you taste it straight out of the jar, but is just right when applied to food and cooked. I've made my own BBQ sauce from scratch (that we really love), but am always open to try other sauces that are good. We have a friend whose family competes professionally in BBQ contests. This sauce is one the products in their tool-bag for competitions and he suggested that I give it a try. We really love it. One word of caution though and I will not reduce the rating because the sauce is excellent. The price that Amazon is charging (and that I paid here) is way over-priced for this product. You can source it from a variety of online stores (including big stores that start with a "W") for less than $5.00 for the same 16oz jar. Charging more than (3) times that amount here at Amazon in basically being ripped off on the cost and I won't pay that again. That was my mistake for not doing better price checking before putting it into my cart here.

Definitely put this in the category of "Sweet" sauces & glazes.

I usually make my own sauce, but sometimes it's just easier to buy it. Read the reviews on this, gave it a try. Very happy. Used it to finish ribs I smoked and wrapped. Nice balance
