Super Helpful Detailed Video
Bought this as a last resort to save my mini iPad, the screen was cracked to the point it would leave shards in my finger if I tried to use it. I figured if I bought this and could change out the screen great, if I couldn’t and it was too complicated then fine because the iPad was going to be trash anyway. But I am beyond grateful I bought this screen because it not only saved my iPad from going in the trash but the installation video for help was amazing and so detailed! It took me two days to be able to removed all the broken shards from the iPad but once everything was gone I was able to install the new screen within one hour. Super recommend this for anyone wanting to save their iPad!

You need a lot of patience
The new digitizer screen itself is working perfectly. It was difficult removing everything to get at the connections and the screws are tiny tiny, but that is not the fault of the digitizer. You will also need to have double sticky tape since none came with the new digitizer screen and what was on it was not sticky enough.

Good So Far
This product seems good so far. I replaced my screen yesterday and no issues at this point.Pros -Fit perfect on my iPad Mini 2nd gen and works as expected. $15 and about 30-40 minutes work makes this a good value for me.Cons - There are no instructions enclosed and it refers you to a T Phael YouTube video but offered no link. Easy enough to search YouTube and find one though.I'm not sure about the long-term adhesion yet since I just installed but it seems pretty good. Overall I am happy with the product.

JUST DISAPPOINTED
First of all, I would like to point out I purchased this yesterday, march 28 I received it today on March 29 upon opening the package as you see in the photos the screen was smashed in the corner.I also paid a little extra to have it delivered next day between 4 AM so with that being said, I called Amazon to get a replacement so now I have to go through the hassle of finding my nearest box to return it, then I also have to wait three days to get my replacement now. I have purchased one of these in the past, and everything was smooth and great this time not so good.I’m not saying to buy because the first one did work for a long time until my son decided to throw his tablet lol. But on this occasion, I am not pleased.Thank you

Does not working for me
The package contains many tools. I was able to use it to open the digitizer. But it does not work when I try to open LCD screen. I unscrewed 2 screws but failed the other two. The little screwdriver just does not work for the bottom 2 screws. I had to give up.

Good screen repair
I am new to replacing Apple product screensI have done 2 now!A IPhone 6And now this IPad mini.Hands down super easy!Screen is good quality.Button does feel a little weird but other then that it was great.Fit perfectly.Someone else posted that the blue strip stuck to the adhesive so when I went to remove it I did it very slow and carefully. It came off perfect. So idk what they did wrong.I love that this also comes with all the tools needed. And they’re actually very good too.The past screen I ordered came with only a screwdriver that was very crappy. This set came with literally everything I needed!!

Button failed after two months
Bought this to replace a different replacement screen on which the button had failed. This one lasted longer, but the button did eventually also fail. The adhesive that holds the button bracket in place came undone and the button started slipping back behind the screen and would get stuck.I attempted to remove the screen to see if I could somehow reaffix the button bracket to the back of the glass, but the glass broke in the process. Obviously that part's my fault, but there's no sense in trying to repair it at this point.
