Great shades - kept these over the Bose!
My better half and I saw the Bose version of these glasses at Best Buy and were both intrigued. However, with a $100 or less gift rule and uncertain if he’d like them, I chose these. He cheated and got me the Bose for Christmas. We both loved our different brands of audio glasses, but I returned the Bose. Knowing how great these worked just felt like a waste to keep the Bose. (Yes, Bose has more stylish designs for sure, but I’m trying to be responsible!) To compare the two, the differences we noted are 1) These are lighter to wear - more comfortable. But the Bose are comfortable, too. 2) The Bose feel more expensive, but that probably also has to do with the weight? 3) Bose has a proprietary charging plug, whereas this one uses one you can easily replace if lost 4) This brand is easier to control than the Bose, I believe. I believe the button on the side allows you to easily answer calls, power on and off, change a song, etc. The Bose I think may have that option but it was not as intuitive for sure. But if I recall, the button was to power on/off and you used an app to control features? (I may not recall correctly but I remember having the thought of the less expensive shades being more user-friendly.) 5) Both shades hold plenty of power charge. My hubs wears his all day talking on the phone driving around and no issues. Has run after work with them on and still has a charge to listen to music. 6) SOUND - both sound great. Very clear audio/voice calls and music sounds good. Compared side by side, Bose naturally edges out this pair, but it’s really not a huge noticeable difference to justify the cost. Honestly, it’s minor and we noticed it most playing Led Zeppelin. You can easily talk to others in person while the music is playing. You can also hear your surroundings which is great for safety. NO, others cannot hear your calls or music. Maybe if they’re right up on you giving you a hug but 2-3 feet away in the car I can’t hear the other person on the phone talking nor his music. Same with Bose. My final thoughts are 1) No, you don’t need these but you will quickly love them. So convenient and more comfortable than an ear piece. 2) If you’re worried about using the Bose enough to justify the cost increase or just losing them, get these. In both our opinions, the Bose are only worth it if you simply want a more chic and stylish looking pair of shades and just want to say you have Bose sunglasses. Purchase these with confidence!

Great glasses!
I really like these sunglasses! I was worried that they might feel too heavy but they actually are very light. Earbuds always hurt my ears so I love that I can listen to music through my glasses. It’s very easy to connect to my phone, and it works from quite a ways away. I took my garbage out to the road and left my phone In the house and it worked perfectly from that far away. The sound quality is not amazing when you have the volume turned up loud. At a normal level, the quality is pretty good! I love that they are polarized as well. I am overall happy with these.

Compared to Bose Frames... not bad at all.
I owned the Bose Frame (Alto) for two weeks. I reluctantly returned them because they always slid off my face. I have given these a try and after one day... I like them.Fit and Feel: Frame quality is equal to Bose, they feel the same except the Inventives actual hug my face much, much better. I can actually run in these. These do not feel any less quality than Boses $200 frames, and in fact actually have rubber on the arms to further prevent slippage. Bose Frames are a bit bigger on the face, but I like the look of both, personal preference, they both are wayfarer style.Sound quality: No contest, Bose Frames sound so good, I was even content to substitute my cars (Mercedes) sound system for the sunglasses. Bose Frames pour the music into your brain. The noise pollution for bystanders is minimal. Inventive's sound quality is acceptable, especially after tweaking the sound on your phones equalizer. I am a psuedo-audiophile and only play lossless tracks and use poweramp's excellent player. But even streaming in standard quality from Tidal or Pandora, the sound qualty is good enough for me. Bystanders can hear much more than from the Bose Frame. These leak a fair amount of sound. Neither use bone conduction, they simply have external speakers pointed at your ears, but Bose uses active noise cancellation like audio windshield wipers to keep leakage very low. Let me be clear, once tweaked, I have no complaints with the sound from the Inventives, I appreciate what they are and temper my expectations accordingly, even after having been spoiled by the Bose Frames.Lenses: Bose are not Polarized, Inventives are. I prefer Polarized even if it makes my cellphone screen look odd.Misc: Inventives have an awful blue flashing bluetooth light that flashes every 7 seconds. It very clearly reflects off the inside of the right lense into your eyeball. Incomprehensible design choice, but easily remedied with a sharpie marker. The Incentives also scream WELCOME when you turn them on at full volume, alerting everyone to your intentions to drown them out with Billy Joel. Another headscratching feature. Boses turn off automatically when you flip them over, which is great, and reconnect quietly and subtly without talking to you.Overall: At $59, I prefer these to the $200 Bose Frames BECAUSE they fit so well and the dropoff in quality isn't so pronounced that I'm put off by these. If the Bose had fit me, I'd pay the extra $140 because I appreciate the sound quality jump others might not be so aware of. I really like these In entices though, ten years ago these would have cost $1000. $59 is an easy buy with adjusted expectations.I was mailed the wrong color lenses, so I'm returning them and getting the correct grey ones hopefully, the black frames with blue lenses are a bit too cool for me.

Audio is very poor. Nice looking glasses. Adjusted from 3 stars to 1
Love the way they look and feel, BUT the audio quality is very poor. There is a major design flaw. The speakers face down instead of towards your ear. Everyone around you can hear what you are listening to and everything sounds distorted. Bose audio glasses are much much better for quality of sound. If I could take BOSE audio quality and the style of these, it'd be perfect.Edit:Unfortunately, the battery on these glasses does not hold a charge anymore. They turn on for 1 second after taking them off of the charger. I contacted Inventiv because the glasses are under warranty for 1 year after the purchase date. I bought these in August of last year and contacted them at the end of July. I was replied back asking for my order number, which was provided, then...nothing. Follow up email sent....no reply. I believe they are waiting until the warranty expires to then say it is not covered. Unfortunate and unacceptable from this company.
