Lovely surprise as it has a plain blue outer made from fabric , I hadn’t messed up my order ( or been sent the wrong colour )When you slide it out inside is this fabulous rainbow umbrella !Quality mechanism and everything feels well designed and carefully manufactured , but there is a knack to retracting the super strong handle it is incredibly durable - but putting it away there is a much easier way when you are retracting the handle to half its length, after about 20 attempts my arms were tiring because it takes real muscle strength !Use two hands and push down on the top of the umbrella while resting the handle on a table top ( or even the floor ) at the same time as you are pushing the handle to half its length it becomes a much easier taskThe instructions are almost impossible to follow there are just 4 tiny pictures but this where you need the“ knack “ pushing down on the top of the furled head at the same timeThat handle has a very strong sliding mechanism which impressed me ,it has been designed to last years and years !Very satisfying to get it right though , lol it was winning until I used both hands , one on the top and the other on the handle itself .All these words but a short video would really help !My final comment is about the cost which is almost £30 !!It will be worth every penny if you don’t force it and damage it ( you may be tempted to send it back to AMAZON )Instead enlist another pair of hands ( genius or what !)I did work it out for myself but two of you will definitely make it happen in seconds although I don’t admit defeat easily and I’m glad I persisted !!GOOD LUCK

Love the umbrella! Survived storms and downpours, have it with me every day. After 4 years of use one of the umbrella ribs broke. Sent them an email. Extremely fast response and new umbrella was sent out within few hours of my first email. I just received replacement umbrella and I have to say this has been best service I have ever received. Amazing! Love the umbrella and the service Repel is providing.

It certainly looks sturdy and windproof. I do find it a little hard to put it down though ie it's a bit too sturdy!! Otherwise an excellent product.
