Bought these for my daughter as the ones I had sent her dogs mad but there doesn't seem to be any noise coming from these as they don't annoy her 2 dogs so I also ordered them for myself. Will be ordering these again when needed as am very happy with them.

I have 2 very keen Jack Russells that could smell the rats but not catch them. The rats were in my loft and outside in a cavity under the shed and I'd seen evidence of them plus a rat eating the bird food....... I'd put traps and bait in the loft; stopped feeding the wild birds; removed climbing plants to at least 4 bricks distance from the gutter level so they couldn't access the loft). No success. I called in the Pest Control people who said all the measures taken were the right ones, but re the ultrasound pest repellers, he said that like any noise in an environment, (traffic; trains; machinery etc), animals - and people become used to it after a few weeks and so these ultrasonic repellers are not a continuous deterrent but a very temporary one and not even necessarily efficient in the short term.The rats have gone now due to the highly efficient and knowledgable pest control company. A major deterrant re rats etc, is to either stop feeding the birds, or fix a large tray with a lip around the edge or a plastic bowl under the birdfeeder to catch any seed fall out. Hope this helps.

Very easy to use, just plug and go. I don't know if they are working like I thought? Maybe everything would be exterminated. I saw spiders and other creepy crawlies gone and died, but the fleas that have decided to squat in my house are still very much around. I have used other stuff to get rid of them but I thought something less chemically would be better for the environment. It is still early days so maybe I will update again in a few weeks time

Arrived quickly and well packaged. I have had the product for a few days and it seems to be working. I would recommend this product.

First off, I was very sceptical about these kinds of products, and if I am honest, I still am.Bought these as we had a mouse making a bit of a mess in the garage, and we wanted to try a humane way of removing it before trying out other tactics.So this product arrived, in its cheap box which didn't really say anything about the product or setup etc.There really isn't much more you can do other than plug in the devices and wait! So that is what we did. I placed a plug at each end of the garage, and used the third in the living room (as it was spider season).Results wise.....MIXED.So the mouse in the garage, it's now gone.......but not because of these plug in devices. I had to resort to other methods to remove the mouse. This product did absolutely nothing to help in that regard.I can say though that in the living room, and this could just be a fluke, but we are yet to see any creepy crawlies (I bet I've tempted fate now).There are absolutely no settings for you to change, just plug it in and pray. The device looks OK I guess, but the purple glowing light can be quite bright, so don't place directly in your line of sight.Hope this helps someone.

I dislike screaming and being grossed out by them (they know my fear) the mouse would just pop in and up when I was alone even took to doing a jig in my living room every night ... I’m way too squeamish to kill or trap these so its left me with thisI bought these in February for five weeks theMouse would turn up sit next to the plug then dance in my living room and kitchen the spiders would still be around then on week five nothing for two weeks I sat quietly in my living room and got nothing now it’s May and the spiders are only occasional but they are up high in the ceiling (Victorian house type) they are as far away from the plug as they can getAll I can say is keep it plugged in for at least 5 weeks and then see what happensAs for me It’s so nice to sit quietly and read with my feet on the floor and feel at home in my home

I bought these in the hope that they would work ... and, what a waste of money I do not have. They do not work at all! ... I swear there are even MORE now. AND, they are even more brazen than before. Houdini has competition. So much for the effectiveness of this sound ... I do not know what it is supposed to do, but I am out of pocket, and I cannot get it back, no one is interested. Wasted money on two types of humane trap ... and now have a rat catcher in ... and no one seems able to do anything.

Wasn’t sure at first but it really does work just as it says. Good value for money and completely unobtrusive
