Tiger Balm Sport Rub Pain Relieving Ointment, Ultra Strength 1.70 oz (Pack of 4)

I buy this frequently to use on my massage clients, on my family and on myself. It not only relieves pain, but works prophylacticly to prevent pain before a strenuous activity. I recommend to my clients that they use this before they exert themselves as well as after; use it on the areas that usually become achy and sore. It works with your body heat to keep an area loose and it helps warm-up muscles. When I use deep tissue techniques I use this to soothe the area so my client isn't sore the day after the massage. I practiced martial arts for many years and I used this all over the place before tournaments. It prevented a lot of pain. I always stock up on this. It does have a strong smell since it has high percentages of Menthol, Camphor, and Clove Oil. My husband always says I smell like horse liniment, but many of my clients love the smell. I think it's pleasant. This works well for congestion as well as pain relief. -Just personal experience and never medical advice.

I have tried other sports creams (that are much less expensive) just to compare them to TB. But I have only confirmed that I am not missing anything, as no other product can come close to comparison! As a matter of fact, the other products (for me anyways) are a complete waist of time and money. I have always has mild challenges with my joints. And finally developed bad arthritis in my back and neck 2 years ago.The discomfort and general tension is basically constant. I can deal with the achiness with a prescribed pain med every morning. But I almost always have lumps that need to be worked out. And TB is a life saver for me, for this! In fact, I keep a canister of TB (and a small towel to wipe my fingers after each application / massage) on my desk at all times! I use it often before AND after workouts and just about as much as I can, daily! It is wonderful! It feels awesome while massaging it in and I can usually work out all kinds of tension and lumps that I could never get out by massaging myself without it. Ask someone (like me) who is a former athlete with old injuries and actually has arthritis problems!! I just wish the pricing would stop rising on TB. But that's where Amazon and good sellers (like this one) help!! By buying this 4 pack, I ended up paying less than half the price (per product unit) than I would have paid at my local drug store. I can't believe the tiny canisters of TB are now over 8 bucks at the store. Ridiculous! But thanks seller and thanks Amazon for great products and savings!!

If you haven't tried this yet, you should! I have shoulder pain and sometimes back pain. Use it every night before bed and works great! Sometimes I use it in the morning before going to work and seems to definitely help. It does have a mint/Vicks smell, but definitely can deal with that. It feels hot on your skin, but never left any marks. I would try a small amount if you have sensitive skin first before putting to much on. A friend recommended it to me and I'm glad I tried it!

I use tiger balm all the time(5 years) and I love it. Tiger balm works wonders for nerve pain. I am medically retired from the military and have chronic pain in my back, neck, migraines and neuropathy. I apply this at least 4 times a day and without it my pain med intake would be alot higher. You definitely need the ultra as I find it much more effective. The linement works well too but not quite as good as the ultra. It is also much more potent than icy hot or ben gay. DO NOT cover it with tight fitting clothing as it will burn you....trust me. Also, make sure you wash your hands good after as getting any residuals in your eyes or your nether regions is bad juju....again trust me! I have told many people with rheumatiod artheritis and carpel/cubital tunnel syndrome about this product and they have thanked me repeatedly for the relief. While the pain relief is temporary I will say that it is just nice to feel something other than pain. The only problem with it is that it has a strong menthol smell but it does go away after awhile. So the solution to that is create an army of tiger balmers, then everybody else will stink instead of us! I would definitely recommend this product because without it I would be in trouble.

Best ointment , cream ive used for muscle,joint pain. Ive been a weight lifter for over 20 years and do alot of damage to my body. So I use this balm almost daily, sometimes twice a day. The menthalated scent is relaxing, and I enjoy that by itself, but it has a good feel that masks some of the pain of strains as well. The two areas where this product excels for me: The scent is stronger , better and lasts much longer (since it is an ointment) and the actual pain dulling effect lasts WAY longer than any cream. This is why I stopped using bengay and similiar products. After putting those creams on , its done in maybe 20 or 30 minutes. No more feeling. With the tiger balm its an ointment and just stays on your body way longer. You feel it for quite a long time. Over an hour easily Id say. I use this in conjunction with capsacin for my wrists and hands. Tiger balm is great for shoulder, neck and other areas. For hands and wrists id reccomend capsacin. Especially for nerve damage. The heat brings some feeling back into the hands. Great product

Absolutely the best upper back pain relief. The side effect left severe itchiness and reddening of the skin . The pain relief lasts longer than any other product I have tried . The itching lasts several days after stopping use and showering.
