ESV Study Bible, Large Print (Hardcover, Indexed): English Standard Version

I bought the large print hardback version with the thumb index. The bible words are very large print and easy to read but the study part is still a bit on the small side. I chose the thumb index version because I thought the pages might be a bit heavy to flip backwards and forwards. However, it’s not as heavy and cumbersome as I thought it was going to be but it definitely has to be read at a table or desk. The sheer size of it means that words curl into the gutter area. The amount of info is very impressive. It’s a shame it’s not full colour like the standard version. It doesn’t have ribbons so I will add them myself. It’s quite simple to attach ribbons to a bookmark-shaped piece of card and then push the card into the gap by the spine. Overall, I’m very pleased with it and it’s good value for money.

The book was only packed on two sides with packing in the box, which resulted in the top of the spine and the cover being damaged. It's very dissapointing for a new and expensive item.

This is one of my favorite Study Bibles. I also have this in the leather version.

I have many bibles, I try to read through a new translation each year along with study notes from different sources. Well I’m in line with this study Bible. The study notes are thorough & relatable for Bible readers at all levels. The hardcover is protective too. It is a heavy Bible so I don’t carry this one to/from church but I do leave it on my coffee table the daily readings. You can’t go wrong with this one!

It serves my purpose well. I bought a hardback because put my Bibles through a workout and the leatherette covers don't hold up as well. I'm happy with it!

Great ESV Study Bible... but, I am disappointed that it came without any ribbons, not even one. I didnt noticed it until much later as I assumed there was a ribbon(s). But as always, Amazon has honed in its customer-relations skills in taking care of customers, like me.
